FreeBSD used to be the OS of choice because of the superior network stack. Now it's used because IBM & co made Linux almost as shit to work with as Windows

FreeBSD is actually still popular because BSD licensed stuff is free'er then Linux. Lots of hardware vendors, Juniper for example, use it because they don't have to publish their source like with stuff based off GNU. You can just take it, put it in your product, and not tell anyone.

As in there are some Reddit opinions going around but somehow presented in a way that are not Reddit. Also people have been very nice and welcoming, it's not something you see anywhere. I'm very impressed by that and I want to be more like a Kiwifarm guy (Kiwifarmer..?) rather than anon. Maybe if 4chan is down long enough, I don't even want to go back because I get the same rush from a (1) as from a (you) right now. I hope I can sleep without checking for (1) too much.

You'll get used to writing like this. You'll get in the habit of making OC, too, with time.
