Diseased Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

The smoke kinda shocks me, but she is from the UK. They use tobacco products more often, more openly, and more publicly than Burgerlanders do.

Any other Burgers remeber smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants? They've all but dissapeared now.

It's a cigar, isn't it? A lot of people will have a celebratory cigar for a big event even if they're not habitual smokers, although I guess that tradition has kind of died down now.

It's great trolling: not only is JK sending the "I'm celebrating" message, she's also going to prompt the wokescolds into disparaging her tobacco/alcohol usage and thereby look like even bigger fucking killjoy nerds.

For anyone who didn't get the reference.

Another round of asinine sperging about the Potter casting, accusing the actors of enabling Trans Genocide™. While it's ridiculous to expect a bunch of actors in their 50s and 60s to take a stance on this nonsense, Nick Frost as Hagrid is somewhat interesting because he's also been cast in Jordan Gray's upcoming sitcom Transaction, which was announced a few years ago but only started filming late in 2024.

I had never heard of Gray until he appeared on Channel 4 in 2022 to sing a song about how he's better than actual women and slap the piano with his cock. He was a patron of the charity Educate & Celebrate which promoted LGBT inclusion in schools. Another patron of Educate & Celebrate was Pride in Surrey founder and convicted child rapist Stephen Ireland.

No idea why Frost took the Transaction role in the first place but apart from the pay this makes me wonder if Frost realised he backed the wrong horse.
I'm not seeing Transaction on Frost's IMDB page. And he's not on either of the Transaction pages. (There was a series of shorts in 2019, and a full-length sitcom series that seems to have stalled.)

It kind of hurt my socially-libertarian soul when I ended up enjoying bars and restaurants more after it became illegal to allow smoking indoors.

Americans just don't really smoke much anymore. I did a double take a few months ago when I saw a college student exhale a cloud of odd-looking vapor and on second look he was smoking an old-fashioned analog cigarette.

There were a round of puff pieces like this [archive] in November 2024. Includes a snap of Frost and Gray on set.

It's hilarious how they seriously believe Rowling dying from a violent attack would make their situation any better. As if the majority of people don't view them with quiet disgust regardless of if a children's book author tells us to.

Either they seriously believe that JK has infected lesbians worldwide and brainwashed them into not sucking Troon dick, or they just think brutally murdering her would scare other TERFs into silence (again, very feminine).

She’s not even the one that actually made the ruling, but I guess since she’s the first woman related to it, they’re gonna target her I guess.

actually I’m retarded I believe there are women who contribute to the ruling too

Very faintly, yeah. You also have to walk far away from some buildings to get a smoke break. A while ago I read a post by a young redditor who was saying they couldn’t forgive their mother for smoking while pregnant with them. Like the way they were describing their mother, you’d think she was injecting heroin. Obviously it’s bad to smoke while pregnant, but that was when it hit me that the younger generation doesn’t remember how ubiquitous smoking was not too long ago. No offense to smokers—some of my best dads are smokers—but I don’t miss that at all.

Some of them do. Mostly ftm.
I remember a few news stories about pooners getting raped and being more mad about being "misgendered" by their rapists than the actual rape.
No, no, this one I kinda get. John Lithgow is a weird choice for Dumbledore...but on the other hand I can't really think of another old guy.
I would have thought of Gene Hackman actually, before his descent into dementia and his utterly awful horrible death. Just an actor for any role.

Lithgow had his moments, though. His run as the Trinity Killer in Dexter was top notch.

I absolutely love this one.

"UK authorities warn that due to unprecedented demand, national supplies of cope are running dangerously low." J.K. Rowling.

Also I would call that a cigarillo but I guess a woman can smoke a cigar that isn't like a big fat cock.
She's just like Andrew Tate!
"tiny, small, voiceless minority" say troons, the very people who have been autistically screeching at 200 decibels for the entirety of the last decade.

Fuck off, troons. Fuck off straight into the oven.

Kinda crazy thinking back. Even out back on the patios in clubs that didn't allow indoor smoking it used to be completely full of people smoking. Now there are hardly any because now everyone vapes or uses snus. I smoked for a few years back when I was young and even now that seems like a distant memory.
