Can we just kind of... put him in there and forget about letting him out? Not saying his sentence should be increased, we just kind of forget to let him out as years go by, ya know?

and some internet nobody who lives only God knows where.
She's a reporter on some local TV new station somewhere, just recently, and I am amazed she would risk her career on that letter.

With people like Nick the sentencing is merely just the chair - it’s the probation that is the rope and they always inevitably hang themselves.

Going away or not for 30 days won’t be his downfall. Stay tuned to this channel.
Yeah, he paid out the ass so he could get fucked up before trial.
He's going to fuck up in that 5 year period, even in a 1 year period. He's going to fuck himself over, I guarantee it.
He's going to get drunk within five days of getting out.
I can't believe they actually made Skelly Cucklinson enjoy prison. :story:
We were all joking when we said he'll get the chair for being a whiney faggot.
Maybe he shouldn't have talked shit about his judge.

Well, we don't know that yet. We'll know on Friday.

It is funny that PSI thinks he's an absolute fag worthy of 30 days in the county clink though. That wasn't on my bingo card.

Megan Fox? She works for PJ Media. I don't think she works in TV.

Now I have to dig to find the evidence, but I think I learned from this very thread that she has a new job at a news desk on a local news station.

Edit: I derped on the other fat dumb chick who orbited Nick: Faran ("Balanced"). Sorry. (Thanks Laura Palmer)

You are likely thinking of my post in the Rekieta thread, where I pointed out that Faran Fronczak got news anchor job in Indianapolis.

This post:

Different person. I think Megan is strictly Internet media.

It's been my experience with probation officers that they'll literally bend over backwards to attempt to avoid a non-custodial sentence for the person they're writing the report on.

(I think the USA and the UK might be different in this respect though, In the US, probation officers tend to train in social work departments. They're hotbeds of leftism and SJWs in their most extreme form. The USA seems to turn out probation officers who are more aligned with the punitive aspects of the criminal justice system -- but I'm really just going by what I've seen in the movies, where the probation officer wants to violate somebody's ass and send them back to jail. Nobody EVER gets violated in the UK. You'll get busted three or four times during a two year period of probation and every time your probation officer will be writing a report on why this person should be given a 93rd chance.)

But I could just imagine Nick showing up at the probation office for his pre-sentence report. PO is the standard archetypal UK liberal probation officer who never wants to send anybody to jail -- but after half an hour listening to Rekieta patronize him, tell him how stupid and inferior he is and how the rules that apply to the common proletariat shouldn't apply to him -- after half an hour of contact with Nick, he's immediately converted to the value of a custodial sentence and sees this first time middle class white offender as being the prime example of a man who would benefit from what we used to refer to as the 'short, sharp, shock.'
I did some digging. A little dated but it looks like the rate of recidivism for those on probation for felonies in MN is about 15% - it's fairly consistent across counties, with the Minneapolis area faring the worst, predictably.

For these 2016 crime stats, they break up the state into 11 areas. Kandiyohi is "Mid-Minnesota". They break it down by time on probation, but 3 years is as far as they track in this study.

Here's where it gets interesting. Nick's probation will be deemed a "Supervised Release," correct? The stats plunge: 40% re-offend.

This study does not break down the type of felony, but I found an older study that says "property" crimes (I assume that means felony shoplifting, etc.) have the highest levels of recidivism in MN.

Jail's gonna be the best time in a long time of Nick's life. It'll be like he's just back at college, surrounded by men, most likely in various states of undress, with communal showers. Do the splits Nick, I'm sure you'll impress some of your new friends. Also, pretty sure Kayla's letter to the court is the one and only time he's got to use that Creative Writing Degree he often talked about. Good job Nick, in today's day and age, most people get degrees and never have a chance to use them. You're doing great, sport.

This guy is fourty-something and has to ask his dad to write him letters of recommendation to get out of trouble.
I wonder if he’s going to go full nigger and bring his elderly mother in to cry in front of the judge for sympathy. he just a good boy tryna raise his keeds. he din’du nuffin.
