By the way Chris Cooper Kyle (in the fanfiction) literally killed Juba fr fr no cap. It all happened.
And if you dare question any of this, you're just a terrorist-loving, Russian-botting, Tencent-army posting, Ayatollah-loving, Saddam-worshipping Threat to our DemocracyTM. Enjoy BUD/S, Civilian Child.

Millions of dollars worth of training doesn't make them any more situationally aware than us. Probably did help with winning the fight even after getting hit in the head with a brick, though.

Also, I thought the headline was an accidental admission that Delta was active in Ukraine (it wouldn't shock me or anything, but I don't think that's confirmed?). Oddly however it was a reference to his children, not him:
“My children recently got back from visiting wounded children and handing out medical supplies in Ukraine, and spent nights in bomb shelters,” Christine Antal said Monday. “Last night they woke up crying and scared to be in their home in NYC and said they feel safer in Kyiv.”
A lot of these SOCOM guys seem to get very involved with NGOs after retirement, although I thought it was mostly them getting themselves involved, probably for big salaries. I hadn't considered it was sometimes about sending their own kids to warzones for volunteer missions where they feel unsafe and get nightmares.

Imagine walking all those miles with a ruck in Appalachia, breathing all that lead in the shoothouse, suffering all those mini concussions from explosives, ruining your knees and back from parachuting, going to war, getting shot at, bombed, and after all of that, dying from a feral negro bricking you in the head in NYC. :stress:

Many of them could be actual glowies, especially since he was Delta and can go to the GS program.

Though Kyiv is relatively safe. The air defense is pretty tight and the risk of you getting hit by a ballistic missile or drone as a civilian is lower than a car accident.

He retired 10 years ago, so maybe he could be an actual humanitarian volunteer. If he takes his kids with him as part of his glowie cover, then he's an absolute sociopath, so it's not impossible. As with Linda Norgrove, we know many glowies use "humanitarian worker" as cover.

But it's one thing to take your kids to a country at war but imagine actually taking them to fucking NYC. He should have known better.
Enjoy BUD/S, Civilian Child.
BUD/S literally, unironically, REAL and RAW. Enjoy Viral Gastroenteritis, and flesh eating bacteria, child. (By the way sooty soot, congrats on the hack)

Green Beret fatties! General Braga, commander of USASOC will take your Green Beret if you are FAT! (maaaaybe) All because this picture of a Green Beret Colonel went viral.

But General Braga, I have a question. Alcohol is liquid calories. How are the elite functioning alcoholics in Fort Bragg supposed to get their ethanol in without getting fat and when "they have a bad back/knee" and can't work out. They will switch to GHB and now that's really dangerous. I'd be careful with this decision, General Braga.

Though that fat dude is a Colonel. Braga won't do shit against him. Just order him to buy ozempic.

Braga was Delta. It's a man eating man environment over there. No wonder the maverick stance.

Humanitarian workers usually smell glowie, but I don't think he was in any covert (or governmental, at all) capability in this case. Many people from that walk of life go on to the humanitarian side for big contractors, based by the crazy combat experience these guys have. It's not all out and about PMCs.

ftfy

Though, it is pretty reasonable what Braga asks. Wanna be part of the Special Forces? Don't look like a lardass with 'beetus. If you think having hands inside your pockets looks unprofessional for the Military, imagine a pregnant looking dude in an "elite" uniform. I mean, you don't have to imagine, just look at the Colonel.

I just don't think soldiers will do what Braga says. SOF and GB love breaking rules and "partying" be it sex, food, drink or drugs.

This posts talks about PEDs and how one whole team got fucked when it was discovered; basically telling people NOT to do them because if you FA you whole team FO, and look at this comment. Link / Archive

15 updoots. Also, this was an active duty ODA apparently from one comment, not marines (they were wearing multicam in some parts). Holy lmao.

Can any kiwis serving in the USMC check if they got added to the 8th comm distro email list, because it seems like someone fucked up and added literally everyone to that shit.
LMAO, how horrifying.
I dont think these guys understand the implications of gear.
Allowing a permanent endocrine replacement, mood-altering, testicle-shrinking, rash-producing, high-blood pressure giving, heart-enlarging, gyno creating substance to people in high-stress situations can't possibly go wrong.

I'm sure Green Berets need Steroids and other PEDs (and the side-effect-managing stack medications) to teach toothless Djakanus Rapeapetus in a foreign country how to plink a target at 100 yards, so a puppet installed government can have a combat capable force™ like the ANA.

Slightly off topic but this is the most active military related thread that I know of on KF.

I've said this once in an A&N thread once but I'll say it again: I'm certain that if any "major" or regional power (i.e the US, France, Germany) got into a war with a peer-rival, they would get trounced. We saw it with Russia in Ukraine and they'll probably be the first to recover from this and have an actually capable army by the time the war's over. Honestly, I don't even think the U.S could invade Mexico, and it's right on their southern border, now imagine them trying to invade Iran and getting supplies halfway across the world to their bases in the Gulf and then through the mountains in Iran. My theory? Fourth and late-third generation warfare breed incompetence.
Or maybe not getting into a big war every once in a while ossifies your military doctrine, who knows.

Oh hell naw DJ. He said Eddie Gallagher was a "great guy" and showed himself to be an unthinking, unquestioning killer drone of a corrupt elite. He even said if he got given a mission with terrorists "in Michigan" he would do it. So he would have actually killed US citizens if he had been ordered to. Also he showing himself to be massively uniformed/disinformed on foreign policy while being an actor in them...

Sorry DJ, you are getting 'shopped.

Sadly, there's no space to add "Deadbeat dad" and "Wife cheater award". Also, imagine defending Hegseth because he's one of the "boys" holy shit. That's on Cole tho.

The massive costs and diplomatic/economic second, third, and fourth order consequences already make those invasions a non-starter imo.

In defiance of the Posse Comitatus Act, of course, but that's nothing new for these guys. I think Haney mentioned that he said something similar during Delta selection, and they still took him into the unit even though it bothered the psychologist.

From what Shipley said on Shawn Ryan, some Africans defeated his entire team with one sandbagged machinegun. I for one would like to see his bravado tested on the mean streets of Michigan. Quick warning through, DJ: being a tier one operator doesn't give you a magical protection bubble. (Archive)

Many of them could be
Could be? My nigga, there are videos and images of dead American volunteers mercs showing up regularly on Russian Telegram, as well as videos of US operators in the zone retrieved from dead soldiers. Recently, the body of "former marine" Corey John Nawrocki arrived in the US from the Ukraine:

This is for a merc in an Eastern European conflict to which the US is not a party to. I mean, surely every dead ex-Marine who became a mercenary in an Ukrainian Army DRG gets an honor guard and this kind of reception when they pass, right?

I'm only posting this because Nawrocki came up yesterday in a TG group. There are definitely glowie adjacent SF operators in the Ukraine, always have been. Every country in NATO has sent operators into the Ukraine conflict, non-NATO countries as well. I doubt most SF guys would turn down going to Ukraine, its the kind of conflict they live for.

Not to get off-topic with the Russo-Ukraine war, but I've read that some glowies have died, though from what I've heard most of them worked in complex weapon usage/transfer or glowie stuff.

The ones who sign a contract with the Ukrainian military to get in the action are actually dragon chasers who wanted the adrenaline and wanted to shoot people in the face legally like Brent Tucker and are not smart enough to be glowies. But that's speculative though.

Like with the case of the bricked Delta, we really don't know if he's just volunteering with his family in a warzone for humanitarian purposes, which is kinda weird but not impossible, or he's there on a cover for [REDACTED]. Since we won't have confirmation for a good while, I'll leave a cautious "unknown" in my judgment.

Well this is true. It'll come out eventually but there's a lot of visual confirmation that at least some have died with AFU units. They feel they have to move a lot of the fancy toys we gave them out of the range of drones, but that's wrong, as the drones get them as soon as they're seen moving them around, hence dead "volunteers" or mercs.
