Yep. Redditors are even more subhumanly retarded than 4channers so this is expected. To be fair Reddit would have done so anyway
>one of their most successful programs has to pay to be on their station>Infinite money
>Paying WBD out the ass to stay on TV
>"See they're successful! They lasted longer than WCW"
So has TNA. Hell, so did CHIKARA.
Enjoy the show
I mean.. failure is stretching it I'd argue. they just beat nitro's streak for fucks' sake.
you can argue that, and I got my issues with the product as well, but it is still a profitable business that can sell out ppvs, holds a consistent audience, and is overall well ran outside of wrestling drama. WWF was in a way worse spot in the early 90's than AEW ever was i'd argue. If I had infinite dollars I too could keep my favorite twig-like guys doing backflips off each other and it wouldn't be impressive. It'd say a lot more about whoever's funding my retarded antics than my product.

Tony Khan is rich enough to fund AEW infinitely so I guess you're just going to have to stay mad over it for a long time. There's no way to verify that. The numbers that can be verified for the company are almost always negative, shrinking. AEW does have a consistent audience and that information can be verified but even then the trend for said consistent audience is downwards, stabilizing somewhere around 650k. AEW isn't going to fold next week but much like watching DSP over the years it's a depressing bleeding out process full of muddied numbers.

AEW is in an interesting position where Tony Khan is both their greatest blessing and most terrible curse. A blessing because he has enough money to keep AEW solvent for a long time even if it doesn’t turn a profit, and a curse because he’s Tony Khan and insists on being the booker despite being terrible at it and letting the inmates run the asylum. If AEW didn’t have Khan it’d be a crapshoot if the business would even last 2 years and even then they’d need someone very talented at the wrestling business to replace him.AEW will go on as long as Tony Khan is alive. Even if AEW didn't get a renewed TV deal and had to stream every show on YouTube for free, he'd still keep it going. Just do what most wrestling fans do and ignore it.
I've seen a couple of their shows, one was a very early tape with a lot of weird meta stuff, like one backstage promo was two guys bitching about how ICP was making them job to their buddy and a dead guy, also a match with, like, Abdullah and Shieky Baby or somebody similarly huge and old, and ICP just shits all over the match. it was kinda funThoughts on JCW? I think they stream episodes of Lunacy today at around 6 or 7.
Someone on /pw/ was shilling for them and Ive only seen about 2 episodes and thought they were alright.
