General Wrestling Discussion

The reddit response over Roman being a Trump supporter is making me LMAO. I just can't believe these guys insist with this shit and don't go watch something more reddit friendly. Even AEW is not as wholesome and heartwarming as they think it is.
It's such an exhausting mindset to have, that every facet of entertainment you consume needs to be also propagating the political views you hold, and everyone involved in producing it needs to match you exactly. It seems like TKO is the only major company that doesn't bend over backwards to placate these people. I like that WWE is for everyone.

"Florida Man Supports Trump" is the least shocking news ever. I don't really care about a wrestler's political views, even if I disagree with them I can put that aside and just watch what they do (Sami Zayn being a good example). The IWC, being mostly consisted of Millennial shitlibs, is incapable of not making everything political.
As for AEW, the Khan family has given Trump millions of dollars. The Middle-Aged Cucks are pretty much confirmed Trump supporters, and that fact doesn't make me loathe them any less.

I mean.. failure is stretching it I'd argue. they just beat nitro's streak for fucks' sake.

If I had infinite dollars I too could keep my favorite twig-like guys doing backflips off each other and it wouldn't be impressive. It'd say a lot more about whoever's funding my retarded antics than my product.

you can argue that, and I got my issues with the product as well, but it is still a profitable business that can sell out ppvs, holds a consistent audience, and is overall well ran outside of wrestling drama. WWF was in a way worse spot in the early 90's than AEW ever was i'd argue.

There's no way to verify that. The numbers that can be verified for the company are almost always negative, shrinking. AEW does have a consistent audience and that information can be verified but even then the trend for said consistent audience is downwards, stabilizing somewhere around 650k. AEW isn't going to fold next week but much like watching DSP over the years it's a depressing bleeding out process full of muddied numbers.

Tony Khan is rich enough to fund AEW infinitely so I guess you're just going to have to stay mad over it for a long time.

Speaking of shrinking viewer numbers:
