I've gotten a couple calls from people in rehab and each time a counselor was in the room. There was a difference if the person who was calling had their mind right or not too, because one time a counselor was putting their two cents in asking if ol' buddy was hearing what I was saying, asking if they trusted me, etc. I knew this guy was likely going to leave after detox and then could hear it in his voice when he called, so everything I said was trying to get him to stay.
