This was a 110% guarantee in bait or highly topical threads for whatever new game or controversy was popping up which is why the removal of an IP counter felt like icing on the cake to the samefaggotry. And yeah people can samefag from different IPs by just commenting on their phone which is why the site needed something at the very least, to deter phone spam.

His avatar is an often spammed /b/ thread starter which always has references to shit logs and scat posted in it. It's spammed consistently but not commonly.
