The problem is that America's experience with free trade and decentralized government has been overwhelming positive. This is problematic for Left fascists trying to sell Americans on a Big State socialist kleptocracy. Thus the delicate dance, where a revolution about taxes is shoehorned into the frame of a class struggle, and where "new power structures" are praised while the American founders and their "bourgeois capitalist" system are carefully denigrated.
