It's not that .webp is necessarily a bad image format, it's that little to no sites and apps support it.I hate webp because every time I save one from here on my phone it shits itself and distorts the filename into some shit where it tries to attach the url ahead of the filename and change the extension to seven digits and a _ so I have to go in and manually erase all of that to set it back to .webp
Imagine a world where .webp was supported like .png and .jpeg, as well as videos (.webm maybe) with transparency/alpha channels being supported on stuff like apps, browsers, and editing programs.
Premiere Pro doesn't support .webm video exports unfortunately, but does After Effects support .webm video exports?
