Elaborate on this sir. Exactly how much do you hate the media?

Would you say you hate them enough?
I hate the media a lot. If I could, I would destroy them and scatter their ashes to the wind. Maybe save a few ashes and make diamonds out of them.

I don't hate them enough. What is the appropriate level of hate towards the media?

Everyone keeps blabbing about fake news but nothing is being done to stop it. Pointing it out is worthless because people on the other political side will always believe it over you. The most I've seen done to that end so far is that the comcast CEO (or something) is being sued and thats it. He'll just get replaced and things will continue as normal.

Need to slam an EO on the table that puts an end to propoganda. I was thinking licenses to broadcast could be yanked if you distort shit.

Everyone working more trying to survive under Trump's inflation.
Yeah i still cant afford a single egg. I was going to color one for Easter this year but nope. I couldn't even afford the crayon to draw on the egg. I'm on my once every 16 hours 5 minute break in the sweatshop right now where I make $2 an hour making funko pops by hand.*sigh*

Honestly better for the site for people to talk about actual happenings than arguing about Captain Planet in a US Politics thread.
Captain Planet if he met Trump

Lol, Dumphrs get owned!!! XDDDDD

I find it ironic in a way that a lot of 90s and 2000s cartoons talked about megacorps making smog and shit and the earth becoming hell when that was the time all the jobs got offshored and there was less smog in the US than ever before (and working class jobs)
Captain Planet is weird. The show was created by Ted Turner, who was a billionaire that helped found both CNN and Cartoon Network.

For all the show’s issues, I will give it some credit. By having Ted as the head of the project, he made sure a lot of the show’s outside material was inline with its messaging. Tons of income went to an environmental foundation named after Captain Planet. He also made sure any toys were more environmentally friendly, it was said they used less plastic for packaging and I want to say materials were more environmentally friendly.

I just think it's a shame because he's otherwise a very decent poster.

Is Kanye's career finally dead?
he actually bounced back super hard, he got his first #1 since Stronger, him and Ty Dollar Sign (muslim rapper) basically took advantage of Kanye being canceled and therefore having a shitload of freetime to just spend the entire time fucking recording and knocked out 5 albums of material, Kanye also dropped that religious bullshit he was on post-life of pablo. he went full on classic kanye rapping and cursing and talking about sex and basically abandoned his "sunday service" style persona. i guess the best white example is when Larry Flint found jesus for awhile and it was just a bad era for him until he finally dropped his jesus shit and went hardcore back into his hustler persona.

It's bizarre to see people who watch Bruce Rivers. I thought it was just hardcore ghetto niggas who love guns. But I'm not sure what you mean by "Read the comments' - It's all just peeps being like, "Yeah, I had a family member that died. It sucks!"
Could be that Youtube gives different accounts "priorized" comments AKA algorithmic bullshit, so you don't see what he sees.

I see the argument over and over again, and I don't get how some of you guys keep differentiating like there's actually more than one side to this. Israeli, Palestinian, it doesn't matter: they're all sand niggers. Every single one. Funny little hat or funny head wrap: they're both sand niggers, and, like every variety of sand nigger, they give not two shits about America or it's citizens. All sand niggers care about is using the benevolence of the United States as a cudgel against their enemies, up to and including America itself. You waste your sympathy when you side with any sand nigger, and you do your country a grave injustice when attempting to defend the activities of one group of sand niggers over another.

I'm all for launching disruptive sand niggers across the ocean for being disruptive shits, but some of us really need to look at what's being used to justify some of it. Antisemitism? I don't give a fuck if someone wants to call a Jew a nigger. The ability to make fun of kikes, along with any other variety of sand nigger, is a God-given right of any true and honest red, white and blue-blooded American citizen. The idea that semitism translates to American is ludicrous. There's a difference between antisemitic and anti-American. They do not correlate with one another, and it's honestly concerning that the removal of anti-American foreign agitators is being co-opted by fucking heeb lovers.

They're all sand niggers, every last one. If they're over here illegally, they must go. If they're over here solely to cause dissent and chaos, the sand niggers must go. This country doesn't exist to be the cultural battleground for a bunch of filthy, barbaric, swarthy, ape-faced sand niggers and their incredibly petty and outdated sand nigger disputes. Fuck all sand niggers. Also fuck the Chinese and Indians. That is all.

Ah, could be. Because all I see is "Man, deaths in the family suck." and "Man, that kid shouldn't have died. That's messed up." Been watching Rivers for a long time, and I imagine a video like this was hard because he and his son used to do vids all the time till he died of a drug overdose.

I always hate it when autistic posters make vague posts. It's like, man, I only got 1 brain cell and most of that goes straight to big titty women and how to cook ramen poorly. Just explain what you are trying to say, dipshit.

@Null brought this up at the top of his stream today, but a US court implied that regulatory agencies (in this specific instance, the FCC) have no enforcement power. It sounds extremely relevant to US politics, but Null knows more about it than I do. Also, I have not seen a single reference to this case in the news, so everyone in the MSM is giving it a good leaving alone.

Here is an article about it (archive).
Huh. Another blow to the administrative state.

I have mixed feelings on this.

AT&T has long done utter bullshit in telecom because they're one of the biggest and oldest players (and for a long time, the only player) in that space, and knew the could get away with it. I see the FCC countering AT&T's bullshit as a good thing.

Spam has made email largely useless, and driven people into the welcoming arms of Google and Microsoft for their email services. Never mind that Google and Microsoft both are reading your emails to build a dossier on you and better sell your attention to the highest bidder. Similarly, constant scam and robocalls have made the phone nearly useless.

For decades, if my phone rang, it was probably legit. Some calls I might not *wanted* to have received, e.g. bill collection for long lost doctor bill, but that's still a legit call. Everything else was either someone I wanted to talk to e.g. a friend coordinating going to a concert, or some new serendipitous opportunity, e.g. a job recruiter got a copy of my resume from an old coworker. No longer.

Now, if my phone rings and it isn't a number I have saved from someone I know, it is some scam robocall. I get anywhere from 10 to 30 them a day. Changing my phone number doesn't help. They also leave voicemails now, clogging up my voicemail box.

Robocall scammers have destroyed the utility of the telephone just like spammers have destroyed the utility of email.

If you ever look up the phone numbers of robocall scammers, you'll often see that the numbers are registered to VOIP services of one kind or another. These fuckers enable the robocallers and know it. So I cheer when I read about the FCC fining the fuck out of these companies.

In theory, the FCC having strong enforcement power might be necessary to force ISPs to deplatforming Dear Feeder. But the administrative state has become overgrown and easily weaponizable, so unwinding the FCC's power also strikes me as a good thing.

Yeah, I'm conflicted on this one.
