It seems almost certain that the way Rekieta views the reporting as "incorrect/incomplete" is that people are saying he is sentenced to 30 days in jail, which he is, just that the sentence "may be deferred if compliant with probation".

In his view, that "may" may as well be a "will". And probably he's adding "regardless" before "if" there in his mind, too. In his mind, he's won already. We've seen this before. This is how he operates in every circumstance, not just his criminal case, not just the civil case, but EVERYTHING.
