For me I was invested as far as him making a breakdown analysis of how someone cheats. I'm only invested into contributing to drama within reason. By saying contributing to drama I mean by providing info/evidence and making an arguement about why its important.

1. Cheaters across every rank in Premier. Absolutely everyone above 30K is a cheater. Well known: Good luck trying to cancel Gabe Newell, he's not a loser like all his other targets and I don't think he can be cancelled LOL
2. Cheaters in Tier 2,3 in the competitive scene: possible. Actually makes it difficult to climb to tier 1 when you compete with hackers and match fixing.
3. Cheaters on faceit: they manually ban but are lazy to keep up with all hackers.
2. Creators of Cheat software, Bot software, Bot/farming networks: Can't cancel a cheat dev or farming network lol
3. Competitive Matchfixing: possible

If I had to guess, he built up some contempt after trying to like online games. Maybe Competing head to head and losing is too much for him, so he hates it. Maybe he wants to be team leader but everyone tells him his ideas are retarded and plays like shit so he has a meltdown.

In conclusion, I think all these fit the bill for Karl with the exception of cheats devs/farming. Its a massive topic. HUGE. But in the end he's a lolcow that targets losers.
He won't show his face for an "apology" video if you can even call it that. When he finds a loser, both him and his audience need a face they can put to the person to feed that self-righteous "porn", as you described it. Sort of hard to do with Counter-Strike. I gotta bring this up because its funny you mentioned that: one guy Loba does a bunch of coverage which heavily demonises Cheating, Matchfixing and Gamba as well as CS gamba streamers but then he openly promotes his CS gamba website as an AD, openly admits that he's making money off of matchfixing with his connections. Hell his streams are him gambling half the time.
