Pretty meh smackdown before mania.

  • Seth's promo was good. Adds a bit of intrigue to the match probably the hardest to call.
  • Andre battle royal still should be on the pre-show for mania. I did really liked how Melo won with the reversal from the second rope
  • Still dont really care bout the Women's WWE match as it will be "lol charlotte wins" and i dont like champions with less plastic in their action figures than their own body
  • They could have unfucked the tag match issue and had a TLC match on Mania but still fucked it by moving it to next week. Nick Khan really fucked wwe with that benching comment.
  • Womens world triple threat is still looking good should be fun. Good segment on the show, still dont really care too much for Jade and Naomi
  • Fatu and Knight should be good, pretty dumb tag match though on Smackdown, I still dont know what they are supposed to be doing with the new bloodline
  • People booing Cody? May have been the more smarky mania crowd but it was interesting to hear. Cena for 17, I do think they want their own champ as the flag holder but it helps that hes a LOT cleaner than Flair. Cody could have gone fucking nuclear on the burying comment by pointing out Wade Barrett but didnt which was a big miss in my book. Not a terrible segment but they have had better.

usually Mania crowds tend to be more smarky and insufferable, I don't want to even imagine how bad the crowd will be for the RAW after Mania, I think Cena vs Cody could go either way, also the 16 title runs by Flair isn't the full story, only two of those are WWF Championship reigns, all the others are all NWA or WCW, at least how WWE recognizes it, Flair could have won as many as 25 world championships but to be fair championship reigns got voided a lot in the 80s and early 90s, like Flair randomly losing to Brusier Brody at a Puerto Rican house show so the crowd wouldnt riot type of deals

This is exactly why I can understand wrestlers that generalize fans and dislike them Cody has a level of fan interaction that no wrestler is ever going to be comfortable with now or in the future

Even if you have to go by yourself, you'll meet some really cool people if you're willing to make conversation with strangers. Some of them might be a little autistic, but aren't we all? We're pro wrestling fans after all.

tbh the best is when Mania is in your area so you can just go to the weird ancillary shit and not have to fuck around with a hotel or actual Mania itself

His consecutive Mania matches with HBK and HHH are always great to rewatch. Vince deciding to have Brock break the streak was a retarded move and he should've either retired with it unbroken or had it broken to put someone over. By the time Roman beat him Taker was fucked up and needed surgery badly which is a shame because if he was in better health their match could've been a lot better. In 'The Last Ride' doc it was sad seeing how he was trying to retire on a good match for the last half-decade of his career but wasn't able to get it. For Mania 34 he had gotten surgery and trained for a 30-minute match against Cena only for Vince to decide that it was going to be a fast squash.

honestly probably would have been better if Roman had beaten the streak instead of Brock, even Taker said Brock really didn't even need it but did so as a sign of goodwill towards Vince, then again then would have been during the peak of Roman Reigns hate so it would have been shit on regardless

Vince's argument was that if not Brock, then who else would've been credible for breaking it which I disagree with since that's the way to build someone up and show off that they're the big dawg. Orton got himself known as the legend killer, and Roman could've been known as the streak breaker.

The liberals complaining have never met a Samoan before in their lives. They are very religious (Catholic) and very conservative. There were a ton of them at the catholic school near me because the airport had some deal where they had a bunch of their parents hauling luggage at the airport. We hated playing the school in rugby because those fuckers were a nightmare to try to tackle.
