It’s a common Social Justice Warrior unpersoning tactic. It’s ostensibly for trigger warning purposes (or to evade the algorithm flagging it a la “suicide” as “suic*de.”) In this case, however, it’s obvious that Billy despises Harry Potter so much that he refuses to refer to it by its own name. The irony is that much like Voldemort being initially referred to by euphemisms in universe, it comes across as excessive and more proves more than anything how overly sensitive Billy is over something far innocuous in comparison.
He’s been flip flopping between drawing Stephane as older recently. It’s obvious that Stephie is his author avatar when he’s not actually drawing himself, but the last couple of strips with just Stephane I’ve wondered for a moment or two if this was really Billy.
He likes making all his female terf figures (Rowling, Cass, generic figure), etc like old, fat, small eyed witches, while all the non child trannies he draws are young and objectively attractive (by SJW standards). His misogyny is showing.
This ruling has prompted Billy to rant and rave the most he’s been on Facebook in a while. Here is a “JKR is a Holocaust denier” comic (despite that in reality, she was stating that trannies were not a specific target by the Nazis during the Holocaust (and she was quoting actual German Holocaust scholars IIRC))
