I remember when Myanmar got a major female leader named Aung San Suu Kyi, who was praised by international lefty media for transitioning the country from military junta to democracy. Her political maneuverings catapulted her party to power, which created a prime minister role special for her, and she got a Nobel Peace Prize. Then she killed a bunch of journalists, cheated in later elections, killed a bunch of protestors, and said jack shit about the Rohingya genocide (for which she had her Nobel Peace Prize revoked).

Some jeet I knew years ago who went to Harvard carried water for Aung San Suu Kyi like nobody's business. Knowing that she turned out to be yet another communist murderer, no doubt destroying that lunatic's parasocial relationship, brings me joy.
She’s not Communist at all. People just projected that she’d be some kind of progressive force in politics because of her background and ‘woman good’ but in the end she was just a typical tribalist like everyone else in Burma. Her political party was one of convenience, a mish-mash of people who opposed the Junta and had no other ideology.

The Rohingya ‘genocide’ is not a genocide at all. They are Muslim invaders who entered the country illegally from Bangladesh. They are not Burmese citizens and should be removed, but Bangladesh won’t take them back. Both major powers in the current Burmese Civil War hate them.

See also Kim Jong Un’s sister who people unironically believed would be a good leader who would bring ‘reforms’ just because she was a woman, and then people started finding out she was in charge of starving people.

Shouldn't this be a huge deal? I know the U.S. has been tacitly supporting Ukraine against Russia, but a Congressman going out to Ukraine and, by his own words, killing members of the Russian military a huge act of aggression?
I would imagine that in older times, there'd be immediate demands to hand the Congressman over to Russia, or else they're declaring war.

This is absolute lunacy. I know the gambit is to have Trump's administration arrest him, so they can say "LOOK TRUMP IS ARRESTING OPPOSING CONGRESSMEN ON BEHALF OF PUTIN!!!" but this seems like something that needs to be addressed.
The Military Industrial Complex has been let loose since 9/11, tbh as much as it pisses me off... We went to War without a declaration to do so over WMDs to only CIA Color Revolution Saddam and steal his Gold. Meanwhile parade around our own asset who fought Soviets aka Bin-Laden as a prolonged conflict gayop till he became disposable to make ISIS a new "Threat".

So yeah, I'm not surprised by Congressmen thinking they have power to Wage War without consequences.

I'm not complaining about this post, but it just reminded how great it would be if we as Americans never had to know what ethnic group X was doing to group Y in country Z where the names are pure Scrabble nonsense like "Rohingya...." we shouldn't have to be burdened with this kind of knowledge, nor arbitrate who did or didn't commit a genocide etc... so tired of third world affairs

As I said, and with appypollyloggies to my right honourable friend @Hey Johnny Bravo, it's fucking BURMA, not whatever word-jumble shit they came up with.

the reason there is all this give a shit infrastructure about people in faraway countries playing thirdworld kristalnacht with each other is cold war hangover stuff

the US and the USSR both stepped in anywhere and everywhere there was any disruption to get our own guys in place

China doesn't do this

there's no reason to do it no more!

Well you do have to be careful of those organizations that show commercials about feeding starving children in shithole country. A lot of groups that are labeled as ‘poor, struggling X’ ended up that way for a reason.

The press is calling this image "doctored"

I suspect the letters and numbers on the knuckles are added to show the meaning of the tattoos, like "marijuana" for M, Smiley face for S etc. but of course the news jumps on it to imply the whole image was faked

However, is there any proof that the symbols mean what Trump says?

Here is a report for law enforcement, a little old, regarding central and south american gang symbology attached to this post.
