Nick's mad because he thinks he made all these people and then they turned his back and that they're hypocrites because they have addiction problems too

What actually happened is that Nick alienated all his friends by being an irredeemable piece of shit that drugged his daughter and while Nick's friends drink on occasion, Nick got fucked up nightly and then would drive his kids intoxicated a couple hours later

Nick has multiple times implied that the cops planted evidence. He claimed cops touched his child's hair with a cocaine-covered hand, leading to the positive coke test. He's claimed the MN drug lab used false results, and that the court knowingly uses false results because trying to fix the testing process would result in overturned convictions. Nick has accused Aaron of planting drugs. Nick has come up with a hundred fucking excuses for this. Him acting like he's repenting is a fucking joke.

And now he's saying, "I broke that law, but I don't care about it. I enjoyed doing it. I'm just sad I got caught and punished for it."
