PPP calls it "Gilding The Lily.". They're telling a lie to make it funnier. The more absurd the lie, the funnier it is. If it's done well enough it's excusable. That is of course if you don't care about the facts. They also will just straight up lie when it's convenient for them to. But that's relatively rare.

I was listening to their “Ralph calls in to the PWR” clip on Friday and PPP was just outright lying about “Ralph called in to PWR’s show and said “niggerfaggot” on direct orders from DSP”. He even went so far as to say that DSP is ordering Ralph to swat PWR. And he didn’t say it in the jokey “ha ha we’re just gilding the lily therrrrrrrre folks” way, he kept insistently repeating the lie that Ralph is DSP’s manservant who’s going to swat PWR.

Normally who would give a shit because “who cares it’s Ralph” but I personally think it’s pretty fucked up to lay that at the feet of anyone when it’s not true (swatting accusations).

To play devil's advocate, I don't think they neccessarily herald themselves as a bastion of truth and justice, at least not without a heaping dose of sarcasm you'd have to be giga autistic to not pick up on. Exaggeration and outright fabrication is and always has been a part of the show's entertainment value, and I have to add sometimes to very hilarious effect. And also, like their Rekieta coverage, is sometimes even prophetic.

You'd be surprised. I had to correct a friend of mine many times when he first started watching the show. A lot of it had to do with sektur lore though, so I don't blame people for taking their word on that. An example was the Uncivil Law fake dating tape. Let the show happen then make a reaction after, or its not a reaction. I have not watched the shows they are showing most of the time before they put them in their show. So its a waste of time to watch the same thing happen again but being the actual real news.
