Since this thread is biased towards lolicons, I thought I'd give some examples of shotacon from a least likely source: AO3 comments. These came from a story where the 'boy' (actually an FTM) was a 12-year-old boy/deer hybrid that had not yet gone through puberty, with graphic descriptions of their genitalia. Someone had left a very naughty review on said work, and these were some responses. All of these people are women between the ages of 18-24, just from a guess at their writing style.
They're talking about someone who hasn't even reached puberty yet.
That person's profile was filled with nothing but stories about trans men getting raped, shocker.
AO3 was just busted on Twitter, of all places, for getting rid of Pro-Palestine comments. The 'corny ass' comment was a reference to Kendrick Lamar, who wrote that diss track about Drake allegedly grooming and fucking Millie Bobbie Brown, who was 15 when she first met him.
Then, we have the ever-so-classic, "You think about this subject so much, you are clearly horny and suppressing something!" comment:
This person didn't want to be 'grossed out':
They won't do shit about IRL pedophiles, but will flex their moral code and the right to free speech over 12-year-olds getting sexualized and raped:

If you are going to write an entire shotacon fic based on a few 'haters', I'd dare say you are the one obsessed. Note how they were angrier over the 'misgendering' than the pedophilia. The funny thing is, I covered it in the Fanfiction Horrors thread, and the child character nearly gets raped by a buck because it knew automatically that they were female. Buck status: broken.

And it all goes back to the same source: to give people an outlet to masturbate to children/underage individuals without getting caught with the real thing. MAPs are never satisfied with just drawings. It will always escalate.
