Now if this was a random stranger trying to "get" H3H3 by going after his kids, then thats fucking disgusting obviously. With the whole cps/skull thing, go after the people who did it fine and I don't think anyone is going to defend the person being charged for it if they do find them, but to then use it as a deflection from all forms of criticism is pretty gross imo. based on the timing of the visit and reports, I would sincerely doubt this was a result of a mandatory reporter and is more likely a result of an online pile on.

From what we know:
- baby Klein presented with diarrhea (as in Ethan and Hila took him to the doctor voluntarily) and parents were concerned about giardia
- from what we’ve seen of the children, there’s no sign of them being chronically exposed to neglected home conditions, malnourishment, and likely regularly attend health appointments
- this was the baby’s first exposure and isn’t a recurrent infection

I'm not fully up to speed on American law enforcement nuance, but wouldn't this very swiftly become FBI's problem since they handle cybercrime and federal crime, and postal in some cases?
If it's not some 2IQ gayop, I'd assume that someone used stolen or otherwise anonymous payment details alongside Tor, and got it shipped directly. Not sure what the protocol for hogging the skull as evidence would be, though.

So either the skull was repackaged before it was sent to ethan, or it had SKULLS written all over the box with a packaging list on it, if it was repackaged WHY WOULD THEY LEAVE THE TAG ON SO IT COULD BE TRACED BACK TO THEM...

I'm not sure why the listing was taken down, the link to that listing has been shared in quite a few different places online now it could be due to harassment, or maybe someone bought it. I have no idea but there are A LOT of unanswered questions and a lot of red flags about this story.

Summary so far:

• they claimed that the person managed to order the skulls without paying for anything
• it was said that the person who ordered identified himself as Ethan Klein
