The problem is that race actually can be a social construct. When Irish weren't considered white, that framework of white is obviously a social construct/social club. Irish are NW europeans, genetically cluster with NW europeans and North Europeans.
When someone's notion of race is at the social construct level, then they are just racially confused. And racial confusion has led to many ugly political disasters.
I'm sorry, but you cannot call someone who's south Italian white and call Ashkenazim Jews not white. You cannot call central Italians white and call someone who is 1/2 NW european and 1/2 Christian background Lebanese mixed race, as that mix literally clusters with central Italians and their genetic homeland is regions of central Italy.
I know some racially confused Jews say they are part of the Jewish race, no, that's retarded. There's a Jewish Pan-ethnic group that Judaism has created, but Jews are part of a race, they aren't a race themselves. The majority of Jews are west eurasians. A small minority are mongrels or fucking ethiopians lol.
You cannot call Mainland greeks white and call someone who is 1/2 Romanian and 1/2 Ashkenazim Jew non-white. That makes no fucking sense on a genetic basis.
To be objective, you can describe a West Eurasian race/taxa. Where it's a genetic region, and most of the West Eurasians have mostly West Eurasian ancient ancestry. Then you can break it down further into pan-ethnic groups which will be tricky. You can make a pan-ethnic group of NW, North and North East europeans where Western Steppe ancestry peaks the highest.
We have the means to do this now. Nobody's knowledge of race will be at the social construct level with the right education anymore. We will just know where populations/genetic clusters stand in relation to each other now at the very least.
I'm sorry to the Americans, but Europeans are heterogeneous, where there's geographic distance between a regions natives (minus bodies of water), there's genetic distance. The ancient ancestral composition is not the same. It's fine though, ethnic boundaries are going to broken in the Americas between Europeans and some West Asian populations all the time. Ethnic boundaries being breached in Europe is a different ball game and something that should be kept a close eye on.
If we just imported a bunch of NW europeans to do population replacement for Sweden, that's actually not ok. We would accidentally exterminate the Swedish genetic cluster, and we do not genetically belong in the Scandinavian region of Europe. One trick you could do is import some NW Europeans and import baltic and finnish people. Someone who is 2/3 Scottish and 1/3 Estonian would genetically belong in regions of Scandianvia and be scandinavian-like. But they would have a different average genetic quality. So that mix would basically represent what Scandinavians might have been like with different selection pressures.
Someone who is 1/2 Ashkenazim Jew and 1/2 Russian slav is very Balkan-like, clusters near the balkan populations and genetically belongs in regions of the Balkans. But they would obviously have more fair traits and have a higher avg IQ than ethnic Balkaners.
