...just how big of the influx of people migrated from 4chan to KF
since the 4chan hack?

Oh Great. now we have 4chan troons amongst us
I wouldn't be surprised if most of them leave once 4chan comes back online, but I guess that's dependent upon how long 4chan is down for, I frequently lurked here before all this so I'll probably stay

View attachment 7259896Give it to me straight kiwis, if I use the sharty are they going to inject trojans keyloggers and indian porn on my computer or something?
depends on your browser and anti-virus
I would avoid sharty for the time being since the feds are IP harvesting and the admin has yet to do any legal damage control, the site might get the 8chan treatment depending on how close 4chan is to the feds (yk for data harvesting, demoralization, etc)

  • Agree
Reactions: Larka
the other problem with leaving 4chan for good for them is that the altchans are complete ass and the community will become too divided, also kiwifarms just has a different culture and format

i genuinely believe 4chan went ass the moment they kept pandering to troons and be more censor heavy on certain topics that arent illegal.
like LGBT

the fact that 4chan let pedophile trannies moderate them, is the fact that 4chan's golden age have long passed and its now become the thing they act out against back then... cringe.

has anyone’s life improved or gotten worse since the site went down? im definitely spending less time online now

Question about culture: what's the point of phonebooking people if they are not doing illegal shit?

Like, I get collecting info of people being lolcows or otherwise unpleasant into a post, but why post their deets if the forum has a strict "look, but do not interact with" rule? To me it just seems like a power play "we know who you really are while we're actually anon" to make the person scared. Is intimidating of this sort really the whole point?

And then if there IS an IRL incident of someone using that info to go and pay that person "a visit" then the forum would just nuke that thread and wash its hands of what happened?
