Can you explain to me how Math Asians are genetically more distrant from Dindu Africanus than Europeans? I'm a genuinely curious layman. When I look at a tree diagram or genetic clustering map, the other races seem to be equally distinct from the pharoahs.

Genetic distance is measured using a statistical technique called "principal component analysis" in which you choose two vectors in a dataset to be your X and Y axis. If you choose different vectors, you'll see a different aspect of the system you're studying.

Here's a graph where the vector they chose for the Y axis puts asians far away from europeans. But notice that asians are on the same spot on the X axis as europeans. If you omitted the Y axis, then asians and europeans would be together ...and as you said, equally distant from blacks.



This is a different concept than the tree diagram you mentioned. Those show the order in which populations split, but give you no information about how much genetic drift has occurred since the split.

There are entire communities of white people out there who are judged, and white people everywhere are content to let them be judged without taking offense, even though those judgments are exclusive to their race. That phylogenetic tree shows the West Eurasian and East Eurasian split. I strongly disagree with North Indian's placement in it though. They are mixed west eurasian and east eurasian ancestry.

Since Europeans and West Asians are mostly of west eurasian origin ancient ancestry. So Europeans and West Asians + few other populations would be part of the West Eurasian taxa. Then you can break it down into pan-ethnic groups.

I really love that picture. If you superimpose the european genetic clusters over a geographic map of Europe with the bodies of water removed, and landmasses smooshed up to each other. You can see that we all ended up settling where we genetically belonged.

And you can see for the Ashkenazim Jews where they fall as a mixed european/west asian population. Their persecution in Greece, Italy and the holocaust has my sympathy. Elsewhere none at all. You have to interethnic mix with the natives for 1-3 generations to be accepted. It can't be forced. I also don't have sympathy for NW europeans who went to NE europe and elsewhere where we got expelled or destroyed. We never belonged there.

Europeans have to put their foot down in Europe, every time foreign invaders have been eventually repelled somehow. We're the finished product of ice age, neolithic, bronze age and iron age gene flow events. Our ecosystem has been completely ruined by invasive populations.

And we should probably consider making east coast NA european and west asian only...Grandfather in the nons to avoid political drama i guess
