>Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.There are several coded warnings against masonry in the Bible. "Walk the straight path, and turn neither to the right nor the left," for example.
This phrase, "turn neither to the right nor the left" is repeated at least fifty times, from what I've read. They repeated this phrase so often for a reason.
There are also several warnings about not swearing blood oaths to people.
A narrow road is plain and hard to trot, strict in its requirements allowing no deviation and possessing no glamour. In hubris people claim they discovered the true path, a different one than commonly known, I am yet to see one which doesn't promise riches, power and knowledge arcane that will elevate the practitioner above the rest. How can such a path be the right one, when its gifts are steeped in sin and temptation, all of its rewards made to sate desire?
The mundane world is filled with such things, by pure logic either everyone will be rewarded or nobody will, therefore existence of such groups is a scam and unneeded. Those who follow the narrow road may or may not be rewarded, but if anyone could potentially get their just rewards it will be those of the narrow path.
