The Elder Scrolls

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
It reminds me a lot of the Demon's Souls remake in the sense that they intentionally changed the artstyle to make it look more like the popular game in the series.
DeS remake changed the style of the game to gothic architecture like Dark Souls 3, which was the most popular Souls at the time.
Oblivion Remaster has changed the color pallet and vegetation visuals to something much closer to Skyrim than what the original looked.
I don't think it looks like skyrim it just looks like every other unreal engine 5 game ever made. It's basically Avowed 2: oblivion edition.

Everyone knows what terrible creatures the original Oblivion character creator could make. I wonder what's the worst that can be done in the remaster?

It's a Steamworks release, RUNE/FLT/SKIDROW/Tenoke/Elamigos get those done the same hour, then they get repacked for slow internet pirates the same week.
It's Denuvo that's near impossible to crack these days, but thankfully it's SaaS nonsense so publishers remove it eventually and there are ways to bypass it for free.

Also, this bear repeating:
LMAO Day 1 Horse Armor DLC, on a remaster.
It's rather funny the decision was made to keep Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles in the main purchase but Horse Armor was put in the "Deluxe" Upgrade. All of this of course was content made in advance prior to the game release.

There have been a lot of improvements on denovo dying in the past few years, I expect either devs to drop it because it's too expensive and is a pain to work with, or someone creates a way to rotate keys and go offline so you can reuse the same key across many different computers. Right now, it's technically possible to bypass, but just too finicky to be worthwhile.

I will celebrate that day, F that spyware shit, where's Germany or EU to ban this shit too?

Skyblivion is a Skyrim:SE mod.
Yes, but you still need OG Oblivion to play it, as the modders don't have the rights to voice and music files so they needed to convert your oblivion audio files to Skyrim.
