Has anyone spent time with it on console? TES4 was my first 360 game and if mods aren't really going to be a thing I think I'd rather just get it on PS5 and be comfy on the couch. I want to assume it will be optimized to run well on a fixed platform but I remember Skyrim and the PS3. How does it run?

I’ll be able to try it on Xbox in a few days and will report back.

So is this whole thing just graphical or did they do something about the fact that Oblivion is seriously the most fucked game in terms of difficulty and leveling out of any Elder Scrolls or Fallout entry? The systems in both respects are utter madness.

Out of anything oblivion was lacking, the graphics really weren't one of them. Either actually fix the game or do something reasonable and remaster Morrowind.

Well from what I saw in the thread and my own personal feelings. I'm skipping it.
Looks ugly, the models are terrifying, takes up too much space, they're charging 10 bucks more for slop armor cosmetics that are probably already in the game.
No mod support, and woke shit like TypeA/B and Identity instead of fucking Race. just for icing on the retardation cake.

With how easy and streamlined everything is now even the most smoothest of brains can install mods don't have to download those massive insane collections that no one actually uses.
