What's the point of wabbajack over something like mod organizer?
What do you mean? Wabbajack is an automatic mod downloader, installer, and configuratior of premade mod lists for people who can't or won't spend however many days """perfecting""" (you never will :D) a mod list. Wabbajack also downloads and utilizes mod organizer after the list is installed so you're going to use MO anyway.

please forgive the whale for being retarded and not reading the product manual or even trying them both.
it's a whale after all.

There are mods that add every single providence of Tamriel to Oblivion. I'd wager most of them are filled with bugs, playable but not complete. You could probably make a somewhat complete map with some cherry picking. Not a complete list.

Some other ones - Black Marsh (2022), Daggerblivion (Adds Hammerfell and High Rock apparently?) and TWMP Morroblivion, Also, Dwemer Ruins (Morrowind). Skyrim TWMP improved adds some stuff to Morrowind too. I've read that Anequina, Valenwood Improved, Skyrim Nord Tombs. The Eastern Peaks module of Unique Landscapes with Dwemer Ruins & Black Marsh (2022) could be decent combination. There are also a ton of mods by Fredlaus that add stuff, but the quality doesn't seem that great. Oblivion Remaster is a disaster, and that isn't changing anytime soon. I've been doing some testing , and the OG modded is unironically more stable despite being a much older engine.

Probably still be enjoyable for the most part, maybe I could give them a go and review them once day, might be fun. Wish people would do these for Skyrim too so we can have the trifecta of "shoving as many provinces in the game as possible" like Morrowind and Oblivion. Unfortunately Beyond Skyrim is trying to absorb as many mod authors with these ideas as possible only to fuck it all up anyway with there tranny political infighting.

That's...actually interesting. Morrowind was pretty stable when modded properly, I don't play Oblivion these days so I can't speak for that. Maybe people were trying to use the built-in systems of the engine as much as possible rather than make hundreds of plugins just to make Skyrim's engine not shit itself?

I mean that was obvious to anyone with even the slightest knowledge of the Unreal Engine.
Yea in the long run (if it isn't already) the remaster will officially be the worst way to play Oblivion if/when OpenMW matures enough to fully support an Oblivion port.
Damn.
Knew it was coming, but doesn't make it any better.
Man I didn't think it would literally happen within a few weeks though.... (:_(

They mentioned when they did the original post they thought that was going to be the end. Apparently though maybe because of the kind messages they got, he got a little more strength to last longer. He was able to go home, attend one last meeting with the team, and well, sadly then passed.
At least he went at home. I think that's how I want to go.
