It's looking like the leaked roadmap is real and a F3 remaster seems a lot more likely than NV. New Vegas was a permanent blow to Todd's ego. "How DARE they take Fallout 3 and make a better version of it on a time crunch!". But we can all dream.

Bethesda would never remaster New Vegas seen as they hate that entry so much they not only dedicated an entire show to dismantling everything New Vegas is celebrated for, but when they won an award at Geoff Keighley's birthday party they went out of their way to call New Vegas fans psychotic.

it's fun to joke around but todd likes NV though, meaning the is a possibility for remastered new vegas probably using the same techniques as remastered fallout 3 which is a refinement of current oblivon remake.

Oh I do have a bashed patch, if I didn't the problem would be way worse.
I don't mind though, more likely an enemy will be carrying something I haven't seen before, and now I'm not the only one carrying an entire armor with me

The concensus here is correct about the visuals, many improvements are not great. Engine runs like ass but no stutters and I'm above 30 fps on the steam deck, I'm old and lame and find day 1 launch AAA gaming on a Linux handheld being this good to be very impressive. I'll try running it on my workstation and crank the visuals and see if that improves things visually. The weather is terrible on low quality.
Idling the game with the background music going is still one of my favorite things ever, floating off into my own mind and forgetting the game because of the music and ambient sounds.
Combat is considerably better than any mod I could find for the original. I naturally went for the block button in my first fight and it didn't stagger me and feel useless. Flopping a sword around feels good enough to want to build a warrior.
Whacky bugs are there. Had a sword fly out of my hand and disappear. Had all the guards start tweaking in unison. Sometimes I get stuck crouching and blocking at the same time and can't get out of it.
Enjoying it, feels like a very graphically opinionated mod pack. Some good some bad.

did anyone else enjoy the bethesda livestream? the after-show interview with wes johnson felt really earnest and the usual tranny safe, nigger-slop-loving corporate tinge those events have wasn't really there at all. interviewer and wes were both at ease, good vibes.
