Moving forward, we're planning on making a new bot that allows server owners to create their own custom ban lists, and open sourcing the Ro-Cleaner database for them to import. Keep an eye on the channel for an announcement when this project is finished.

I think that's a solid approach: it takes a bit more mental gymnastics and legalese vaguespeak to take down a bot that in itself doesn't host or do the function the tranny jannies are upset over, when the main intended (by Ruben) function is provided with an external list that can be tailored to anything, really. At that point it'd just be a general use ban-bot, rather than the "RebloxGroomerDestroyer9000" that the jannies are so upset over.

Reminder that Discord has always been unprofitable and that its only real staying power stems from its ability to collect the personal info on users even if deleted. It's the biggest honeypot for the highest bidder.

The banning the anti-goon bot was most likely a decision made by a pornsick employer, but this decision aligns with Discord's underlying strategy of gaining more personal info on its users. It doesn't matter if the user is a pedophile or groomer, all that matters is the data.

Discord ranks probably in a... top 15 companies that just need to DIE. There is absolutely NO JUSTIFICATION for this. Whoever you are, if you receive a news with this - would you allow your bias get a lapse of your judgement?
