Came here to ask: How the fuck are there posts being archived on desuarchive to this day when the site is down?

posts on archive.webp

If you all know it occurs once in a year on a particular date and time, would you not all already have foreknowledge of it such that all of you could be there?
everyone knows and already should have the 4chan extension that takes them straight to the archive to continue the conversation when the thread is kill
weren't you just larping as some oldfag a few pages ago, thought you would know this already

Man, it's been a week. Why won't Mossad get off their asses?
they've showed up, but I figure with /pol/ gone, they have half their work done already. ain't no one calling them kikes to the world, so they can figure out how to sneak bombs on to arab niggers however the fuck the will without anyone caring.

If you were as good a bankrobber as you were a poster, the teller would give your poorly scribbled stick-up note back to you with grammar and spelling corrections highlighted in red, make a quick call to CPS after you refused to tell them who your parents were, and a round of applause from the people standing in line behind you for thinking you were putting on a cute little puppet show with your mom's stockings on your head and grandma's mittens on your hands.
How much do english teachers make? 27k? keep winning sir. BTW why do you follow me like a stalker child? you your CG hug box enjoy it nigger.

I still remember the week after Hamas decided to go for a fly to hang out at that music festival, was nice having Mossad doing something else for a while. The porn spam really did go down a lot for a decent amount of time. Maybe they're busy doing some internal skullduggery, Netanyahu's fights with the Shin Bet could turn into something funny.

It's pretty useful to organize recurring threads together with other anons. For example threads about streaming events on /a/ which only occur once per year.
The Haruhi Movie and Toradora Christmas threads are a prime example. I've only been able to join a few but they're by far the comfiest experiences. At least from my knowledge a majority if not all are really around the Christmas period.

these christmas streams and r/a/dio at the start of the year are the only true losses if it stays down. also those police chase and louisiana parole board threads that periodically pop up on /pol/.

I'm fairly new to running vichan instances, but rather old to running custom imageboard software (since about 2012):

It's mostly commercial (they make money on pay per download scamming, like most link spammers) + actual pedophile activists who want you to make a loli board + esthers who upload hard to find CP, and then report it to your ISP to destroy you because they hate you for political reasons.

apart from imageboard culture, I'm a security professional: sites like this never come up. Ever. Even 4chan getting hacked wasn't even water cooler talk at work.

Threat intel literally just scrapes shit, archives it, and then greps for interesting shit when they think it's interesting. Open source threat intel is even more boring, and is mostly telemetry. Like you guys are right to be paranoid if you're confessing crimes on these platforms, but end of day, this is a woman's website: all ya'll talking about is gossip: ya'll ain't breachforums talking about selling databreaches, password lists, 0days, and shit that's really criminal or sketch. To that ends, ya'll aren't something anyone thinks about.
Well yeah when considering civilian interests like fusion centers. The extent of American tax money investment towards 4chan stemmed from the huge budget for social media manipulation since supposedly 4chan was a sizeable social media platform. And that's considering solely U.S. interests.

WHAT THE FUCK IS TAKING YOU SO LONG
FIX IT!!!!!!
The longer they take to restore it, the better the chances the site will actually be updated and modernized instead of slapping unvetted jannies and cobbled together patches on its ancient software
*hits copium*
Higher filesize limits, thread IDs, webp support any any day now.
