It’s been brought up that Karl discussed making a downfall of Apollo Legend video in his Discord server but deleted the message afterwards.
However, Karl forgot to delete his other messages about the proposed video (or the discussion in his server about it.

they are delinquent for sure, but not fraudulent, which Karl kept repeating. and i dont think they are required to or be compelled by the courts to open their books if requested by Karl because it will be a fishing expidition

I mean, Billy does not have the best history with court cases either. He likes to file them for all kinds of stupid reasons.
He won this one against Karl for good reasons, and I am happy for him he got that Apollo legend bullshit corrected.
Billy should stop giving people reasons to dislike him by filing frivolous lawsuits, if he does that his image should remain relatively intact from now on.
But going as far as advising other people to go after Karl seems like Billy is doing too many victory laps.
I mean, I would think a Jirard lawsuit against Karl would be great Kino because it would be an epic retard fight, but I do not think it is good legal advice for Jirard.
Not entirely correct. The fraud claim is also over not properly deposited donations made through other channels, like Twitch Bits and subscriptions. He would have to show that those claims are untrue. A simple IRS audit to show no money that was donated to the foundation was misused is something entirely different. (Can't audit a foundation's use of funds for funds that never reached the foundation in the first place)
[EDIT] And I think that will be hard to for him to do, because I believe during the fundraising event he claimed "Yes, all bits and subs are counted as donations towards the foundation for the duration of the event", and then later admitted that "we kept a part of that to pay for the event and business expenses of the company". (I am paraphrasing here, so if I misremember please correct me). With those things in mind I do not think he should go into a courtroom and fight this, because contrary to the previous claims Karl made, here he seems to have a solid reason to believe what he says to be true (or it is actually true), with words from Jirard's own mouth to supplement that belief.

And I think that enough proof was shown, in form of videos, that showed Jirard contradicting himself about donations and what that money would be used for. As I understand it he admitted himself that money went to his company, when previously stated that ALL money would go towards the foundation.
With this on video he would be the one that has to show two things 1) He misspoke and all money that people donated (including Bits and Twitch subscriptions) ended up in the foundation and 2) that he informed Karl of this and showed him information to prove it.
If Jirard had been able to prove the allegations false, he could have just shown the books and demonstrated the total amounts of funds gathered, with their origins (PayPal, Bits, Subs, etc.), because he is already legally required to have donations split up by source anyway, and then show that all those donations, after converting into $US and paying various fees, amount for the sum that was transferred to the foundation.
He should be able to do that, but he hasn't. Which tells you everything you need to know.
If he could slap Karl around, I think he would. But I don't believe he has a case.
[EDIT] And I am not sweeping for Karl, he has a tendency to make stupid claims in his videos. The DCS video was mega dumb and if he had left that online he would have gotten sued for sure.

I doubt Billy Mitchel is personally taking the time to look into the claims against the Completionist and it's more of a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" situation and he's just enjoying the shitposting at Karl's expense.
Reminder that Rickey's Hot Sauce isn't just a random business he threw together to capitalize on his fame from playing Donkey Kong and Pacman. It's natural to think that but it's actually a family business he inherited. It started as a restaurant business he inherited from his father, that while initially failing to turn a profit ended up getting success when they added wings to the menu and not long after the "famous" hot sauce.:
Even without his video game scores and these lawsuits he'd still be pretty well set finanically. "Billy Mitchel the hot sauce man" existed before "Billy Mitchel the King of Kong". If it's not personally about him I doubt he's too invested in Internet drama about some random fat YouTuber called the Completionist committing charity fraud. The guy has hot sauce to sell, an actual family to take care of, Donkey Kong games to play, arcade cabinets to modify in questionable ways, and lawsuits to attend on the other side of the world.
Compare that to Karl's career which is all about Internet drama and now he's sold off his house to pay for this lawsuit and fucked up his reputation with his fans. It's going to take a LOT of Raid: Shadow Legends shilling to come back from that.

I believe defamation statue of limitation in Australia is one year. So what is going on with that? Both Lus and now King Billy have talked about him suing Karl recently.

I haven't obsessively followed this entire thing. I knew that Billy Mitchell was litigious about being called a cheater (to the point where he was parodied as Garret Bobby Ferguson on Regular Show as a giant bearded floating head - Billy lost that one as it was obvious satire). but the manner in what I've seen on how Karl Jobst misrepresented to his fans that he was defending himself on a defamation lawsuit because he was brave enough to call Billy a cheater and the it's discovered when the court rules that no, it's about Jobst blaming Billy for a suicide.
I don't have any real love for Billy, but his shitposting game deserves respect.
I've talked to some people who said Jobst never ackshually misrepresented what the lawsuit was about and if people misunderstood it, shame on them. It's the same argument that some chronically online political people had when there were calls for Biden to drop out after the first debate and ackshually Biden never promised to be a one term president, even though March/April 2020 he was going on about how he saw himself as a "transition" president and "a bridge to a new generation".
That sort of nitpicking can be valid in a courtroom (if someone were to try to sue Jobst over feeling that they donated money for a legal defense based on calling Billy out for cheating and not for decrying him as responsible for someone being driven to suicide), but that doesn't matter at all in terms of Jobst's online presence and livelihood. If people feel that Jobst lied to them about what their donations were going towards and that he is not an honest person, they are likely going to stop watching his content and donating money to him. None of that requires an expensive lawsuit or satisfying the burden of legal proof for Jobst to become vastly less relevant/irrelevant and less financially stable.
