I'm a bit late here, but I finally listened to the weekly(?) podcast Null did where he covered the 4chan hack, and he talked about why he allows us dirty rapefugees to be here.
He starts talking about this at 1:30:00
Basically, what he says is:
-Some people didn't want us there because they don't want an outbreak of manchildren anime coomers. (understandable)
-Null says that Kiwifarm is small and has many enemies, and rejecting everyone is not a smart move.
-He wants people to join his site and be accommodated... so long as they behave.
-He talks about how he used to post on 4chan too, and how the hack, the ironic Miku dancing, everything about it reminds him of that era, in a nostalgic, endearing, funny way.
-He says that 4channers wouldn't join Kiwifarm in the first place anyway, except if they want somewhere safe for work.
-He says that coomers would just migrate to 8chan while 4chan is down since that’s where porn/loli is allowed and they have no reason to be on Kiwifarm.
-He doesn't want to make an imageboard but if there are good people from 4chan coming to post on the forum, he is fine with it, and the website needs them.
-He also talks about some 8chan/9chan history.
-Only three (3) people managed to get banned for being rapefugees. (might be more since 18th April)
