I hope the Sharty kids use another attack to shut it down no way a bunch of volunteers actually scrapped together 10 years of outdated code.
That's why I think RapedApe is full of shit and there's no way 4chan is coming back anytime soon. Not unless they either migrated the data to Vichan or they employed a team of giganigga security experts to patch all the vulnerabilities.

When 4chan comes back up,

If anyone has access to a WRT3200ACM or a WRT1900ACM, you can flash expressvpn software on it and force clients through expressvpn.

From that , you can run Tuxler to get unlimited residential VPN IPs , that 4chan will never manage to ban . I’ll be posting jannie details until the end of time.

You use the router so that tuxlerfags can’t use or do anything bad on *your* IP.

I’ll have a shitty laptop with win11 dedicated to this.

If you don’t know what any of this means, don’t install Tuxler unless it’s a throwaway laptop on public WiFi. This is so you don’t have cretins downloading cheese pizza or threatening the president or torrenting (or whatever) on your home IP.

But at a cafe on some piece of shit laptop you don’t care about? Go for it.

this is interesting, im not super techy but wouldnt all expressvpn ips already be banned?
Not by Tuxler. You can VPN through a VPN, and that will give you a Tuxler residential IP.

The point of this being they install some kind of aids proxy on your system and let people use “your IP” the way they’re you’re using theirs.

And this is the only way I’ll allow that.

Or you can just pay Tuxler a one time fee but I still don’t trust their software and wouldn’t install it on my non throwaway computer. I’d still firewall it behind expressvpn. That’s just me.

I just figured this thread would be as good of a place as any to drop this suggestion.

I’ve just suggested expressvpn for entry level folks who don’t know how to configure this next one, but for those who follow what I’m saying this is also possible with any router that runs openWRT or DDWRT and then you can just use a roll-your-own WireGuard tunnel to some VPS instead. You won’t care if the VPS is banned on 4chan (or anywhere) because Tuxler will give you a different IP anyway.

The cool thing about 8chan is that now every shitty general thread that's migrated can now confirm that it's single lone-wolf schizos making entire threads/boards unusable. UIDs and actually-active mods are pretty nice. Hopefully, 4chins implements UID on more boards when it retvrns.

Some of these niggers have been shitting up the same boards and generals daily, for years.
It's why it makes it hard to want to go back, because not only do you have the thread shitters but you have the janitors enabling them.

As someone already wrote, there's a strong possibility another hacker will just try to exploit using the leaked source code.

And they really shouldn't go live without making major concessions to the users. With no goodwill, it's just going to be weeks of nonstop trolling about the site being down.

Some suggestions:

1) Reopen /qa/ permanently
2) Remove the soy filter (and maybe all word filters)
3) Remove the non racism outside of /b/ rule
4) Remove the no console warring rules from /v/ and /g/
5) User IDs on every board
6) Get rid of /pol/ meme flags, or if kept then have them alongside country flags only but not by themselves. Also a VPN flag next to anyone's flag with 4chan pass and a VPN
7) Make the captchas less insane

If they don't do something for the users other than bringing the site back, the launch is just going to be derailed by nonstop trolling about how they got pwned.

Why would that make any concessions at all? They know everyone fucking hates them and will just come crawling back once they go live again. The lesson they will take from this incident isn't that they should act fairly, but use a throwaway email to not get caught in the next janny leak.

You'd have to be a total retard golem to go back if there's no improvements after seeing the leaks.
