Without getting too detailed, every time I see photos of Nick’s sons I just can’t imagine how hard it is to be a boy with Balldo for a father. I can’t imagine how hard he is on them for being different. Yeah if my parents acted so irresponsible I'd hate them too. And if your parents present as right leaning as Nick used to, I dont blame them for choosing the exact opposite. Turning full authoritian is another possibility.

I've seen these kinds of parents and how that usually ends multiple times. It leaves scarred damaged people who become the dregs of society. Even if Nick was excised from their lives today the damage is already done. Unless they are blessed with enough strength to move past that, the odds are they'll end up just like their parents.

Rekieta did the same thing when he turned on the other lawtube grifters. He begins by hinting clumsily like the midwit he is, then starts dropping stronger hints ie details of some imagined scandal involving someone and finally we get some sort of incoherent version of an event where Rekieta is the main character and hero and the person he is insulting and talking out of turn about did something depraved or stole from Rekieta in some way.
In the current case it seems he wants to besmirch someone he was with at that trashy anime con.
