Every singular time I take so much as a glance at this community it just gets worse and worse. From the smaller nooks of it like the Fruit Cake Club shit, to the bigger (in more ways than one) identities like Nick or Tom. So much petty retarded stuff than in an ideal universe would be held exclusively within over-the-top comedy books about obscene hypotheticals and mock exhibits. And yet here it is, there's entire fucking pages worth of stuff about two deranged retards fighting about what amounts to virtually nothing, then a third, once rightfully beloved, now rightfully disgraced retard joins in and dons a suit he hasn't worn in years to attack one of his ex-friends, causing a schism within a community where one of the top dogs is so fucking fat you could roll him down a bowling alley and every single lane in the establishment would get a strike, meanwhile the one somewhat reasonable skinny asian who's been MIA for months at this point returns just to comment on the current schism and then vanish into a puff of smoke. How can you read this and think it's something not out of some kind of obscure early 2000s comedy sketch? If Monty Python read this kind of script he'd probably give whoever pitched it a 100K raise and a firm kick up the ass.
And the worst part about it is? People ACCEPT this.
This is just how it is, drama's are one minute there and the next minute gone. Massive community fights and shit-flinging contests are happening one moment and then like a month later you'll see the participants acting all buddy buddy with eachother once again. Someone (LioConvoy) will spend most of their free time online autistically screeching and threatening random teenagers on discord and his contemporaries will look at that and go "Yeah, I wanna keep on associating with him" Some people will even look up to him, consider him a voice of reason in the community, when it's impossible for him to be such a voice because his vocal cords are beyond fucked from spending the last 5 hours of his life telling a Mexican non-binary teenager with an Omori pfp and exactly 12.4K tweets on a 127 follower account to kill themselves and that they're gonna call their parents because they called one of his friends a stinky doo-doo dickhead dominator. I've seen FNaF fangames on Scratch with more reasonable and logical structuring than this whole community has to offer.
And you wanna know what the Worst worst part about this is?
We NEED people like these to call out genuine bad actors.
Without retards like Tom or idiots like LioConvoy or fucking Gilded Poo, who's gonna be there to call someone out when they ACTUALLY do something bad? Who's gonna be there to document shit and record legitimately important calls and info for when it's needed to prove someone is lying or falsifying things? Who's gonna be there to bat for someone when they're actually being falsely accused by some BPD ridden schizo? The answer is simply: nobody, and that's the worst part. Because without people like Tom, or Nick or Mali-Malware or Akumu or fucking Just a Robot, the actual abhorrent shit could by all means, just vanish without a trace, become an internet campfire story, only told by people who used to be associated with the person in question, stuff that couldn't be proved because nobody would actually think of documenting such stuff because it would be the internet equivalent of the tree of gaia falling in a forest, because if noone is there to see or hear it, regardless of how important it was, does it really matter?
The internet landscape, unfortunately, needs these kinds of people around to document this kind of stuff to the greater public, sure sites like Kiwi already do that, but when it's such a niche sub-forum, it rarely makes an impact outside of said community, but when Tom or WillyMac make a video on it, then people might actually learn about it.
The only good creators this community has or used to have is Colossal, Akumu, Glitch Poachers, Bunjee, And probably a select few others too.
Yeah, it's a steaming smelly putrid pile of shit, but we need the steaming smelly putrid pile of shit to attract the plague-ridden rats that flock to it so we can stomp them out. Yes we know it mostly just attracts flies and emits a horrid stench, but without it, the rats would go on to wreak havoc, and then what?
