How do I place images in my about me?

I've been trying to insert an image in my about me, but it seems like I can't... It asks me for a URL and a URL only; attempting to paste an image does nothing. Whenever I place an image URL in the field, it gives the error "Image cannot be loaded from the passed link." Am I doing anything wrong? Is there any requirement I'm supposed to meet?

I can do so.

Go to "Signature" and paste the BBCode for the image tag, now, that image must exist in Kiwifarms I believe, or its complete link must be of public access (like not in a DM chain).

So essentially, try putting this in your "Signature":
[IMG]https://kiwifarms.st/attachments/mystery-png.7195470/[/IMG]

Try it and tell me if it works. Now all you have to do is replace the link you see inside (the one above) with the one from your image, and this image must be uploaded on Kiwifarms; it's also of public access I believe when the name is displayed (in the link) & not originally uploaded on a restricted part (like a DM).

Something like that, I have not tested all the different combinations to see how Xenforo works, but anyways, try my link first and tell me if it works. All you have to do is copy-paste the [IMG] tag up there.

I mean, it's literally the same as what you were doing (it inserts the img tag for you with that option), so it probably does not need to be from Kiwifarms, but whatever. Maybe you pasted something wrong (maybe you forgot the https://).

Also, sorry for asking, but what exactly is the point of a signature on this website? I've never seen one outside of a profile. Is it for messages?

It may be due to an error, or it may be due to security, I am not sure. So the image being from the site itself pretty much circumvents this.

So the point of signatures is to have a quote/image/etc whatever content below all of your posts, it would look like this (notice the "This is my obnoxious signature!"):

However Null probably disabled it because, as you can see, it adds nothing to normal posts, and is generally annoying. If it was on, users in here would fill it with eye-catching, distracting, pointless bullshit, so it's better for it to be disabled.

But it still shows in your profile because that's not a problem.
