My only knowledge of tvtropes is that my first time jacking off to images as a kid was when I randomly found their "what are the hottest anime girls" thread.
I will never forgive them for this.

From what I see now the whole community is about tired autistic quips and archetypes etc, and seem to be moderated by the same sort of obnoxious neuroticism that runs reddit. But I don't think there's anyone there who expresses their absurdity enough to be noteworthy.

It feels like every time I have an addition to a page that I actually put effort into, some cockhound swoops in and deletes with either no explanation at all or a terrible one. The only way to "resolve" such things is with back and forth PMs but 9/10 that usually goes nowhere because autists hate to admit they're ever wrong. Putting aside the actual subject matter, is it not insane to have so many people debate whether or not to remove something while also being terrified to actually look into it themselves? Watch a YouTube video or something you lazy fucks.

I recall when some cuck rape fetish slop book was posted for review, pointing out one "erotic" scene where an evil princess forces a slave boy to suck another slave's BBC then cuts their dicks off and lets them bleed to death. Sounds like obvious smut right? Well, an asshole from the CM thread wanted to propose her, so thread users lobbied "this porn novel has enough thematic value because... it just does okay??" and rigged votes to keep it up. Love that simply joking about SBI is enough to get you considered a bigot. It'll never cease to funny how it came out that a single company was responsible for a lot of the more shitty trends and video games and is basically forcing game devs to cave to their demands and the reaction of people like this the world over wasn't "Holy shit" it was "You aren't supposed to know about that."

I really do think not being Japanese is enough to get past the "This is smut" filter on TVT. They're afraid to even mention plot heavy eroges or particuarly raunchy ecchi but you can have actual porn stay up because it wasn't made by those filthy Japs. You know there's probably an observable overlap between omega puritans and tropers who insist they're anime fans.
