Shouldn't keep hamsters in the same cage anyway. Most of the breeds absolutely hate each other.

Phil doesn't even do the most basic house chores to keep his house clean - he shirks responsibility whenever possible. You can bet those hamsters were living in filth and were heavily neglected.
