My thoughts about how teachers only work 2/3rds of the year and don't manage to teach any kids basic skills like literacy or math gave you a visceral gut reaction called "being mad about it," and that is OK. What's not OK is teachers acting like they're the real heroes when they are categorically failing as a profession and still rake in the bennies such as pensions that pretty much nobody else in society has these days. Also did I mention several times already that they only work 2/3rds of the year?
they've been systematically fucked over by "No Child Left Behind", "Common Core", and lazy parents. I feel bad for the older ones and for the ones that want to do the job.

I get it, a lot of them are/were leftists. But, at the same time, when admin/districts force a hyper-fixation on standardized test scores, it kinda fucks over the kids who are already competent.

That and, well, the sheer amount of leftist cope over charter schools/private schools/schools without IDPOL shit. I've done work as a substitute before and it sucks when I realize that kids are just screwed over by niggers/shitty admins/shitty programs. The teachers are stuck because the ONLY disciplinary shit they can do is call the parents or give them some form of detention. The kids don't give a fuck. The good kids or salvable kids get fucked.

I can't blame the teachers, a lot of them are fucked over too. I blame the administrations, districts, and government. The fixation on standardized testing and "no child left behind" has utterly fucked up american education, which was already on a downwards spiral before the 2000s.

So nothing about extreme unpaid overtime, being forced to work through your 1/3d time off because you dont make enough money, nothing about how teachers are expected to raise children instead of the parents. The profession itself draws in the mediocre because of the shit compensation and benefits. Ok so not using your thinking thoughs, thats ok we can move on.
I mean, I get it. There are so many shit teachers and a lot of unaddressed cases of teacher-on-minor issues too.

But, well, it's a government job that attracts people. I've also noticed more and more "credentialization" in the field too.

Deep blue is a dark suit, you fucking retard. A dark suit doesn't just mean black, it means a darker color, which deep blue is. I know other people are retarded, that doesn't mean you can be just as retarded as them.
Deep Blue's been recognized as appropriate if the restrictions just mention "dark suit". This feels like the MSM trying to exacerbate "orang man bad" shit again.

A dark suit = black, not navy blue.

Though I guess I shouldn't be surprised to see how ignorant you americans are. So eager to shit on others, while everyone else sees what a clown your leader is.
Dark means black because I say it does. Why can't you Americans be as cultured and wise as I am? Why don't you have TDS like I do? Excuse me for a moment, time to sniff my own farts. BRB.

He's defending Zelensky wearing Stone Island to a funeral, it's just pointless to engage. This kinda argument has gotten the thread locked before when it went on and on.

"For the dress code "dark suit", the choice of colour is limited: black, dark blue, or dark grey. If you choose to wear a grey suit, make sure it is very dark - almost black. A dark brown suit is not an option." - https://www.rsu.lv/en/dress-code
"A dark suit dress code generally means wearing a charcoal grey or navy blue suit with a white dress shirt, dark tie, and black leather dress shoes. It's a step above cocktail attire and a notch below black tie." - https://stayhard.com/nl-nl/pages/in...specifies a,measured by a professional tailor.
"Dark suit is a fine dress but not as well dressed as a tailcoat or tuxedo, you then wear a dark suit with a vest and tie or bow tie, it should usually be monochrome and in any of the colors dark blue, gray and black." - https://vanbruun.com/en-us/blog/wedding/dresscode

I did something you probably never would: I actually researched what a "dark suit" even means. Guess what? Multiple sources say that dark blue, deep blue, and navy blue all count as "dark suit" colors. So this is my last reply to you unless you say something that isn’t retarded and actually back up your claim.

they are categorically failing as a profession
I agree the "we're heros" shit is obnoxious, but this is one area i will agree with the average redditor on: It's not the teacher's fault.

The problem stems from
A: Not being able to expel students. Even in the 2000s it was clear that one raging nog just killed the entire learning environment for 2 dozen other students, and it puts the teacher on the defensive. They go out of their way to try and ruin the learning environment, this even happenned at my university.
B: Not letting students choose schools. This has actually gotten better but is still a problem, if a school sucks it should fail.
C: Not letting teachers teach the way they want.
D: Not being allowed to give perks to students who excel and punish students who suck.

Basically socialism is the core problem as usual.

This guy and his dress-up games. He's like a high school theater kid. "My country is at war so I cannot wear a suit." Who's ever heard such a thing? And he commits to this for years and years. Libs think it's fucking epic that he can't be bothered to get dressed.
He could at least wear a dress uniform or something instead of miscellaneous vaguely military looking civilian clothing which is why he looks inherently unserious sometimes. He doesn’t look like a wartime leader he looks like that one kid in high school that insists on wearing military surplus at all times.

Especially since the Ukrainian dress uniform isn’t even that outlandish and quite minimalistic so he wouldn’t look like an African Dictator.

I don't think it's socialism. I think it's LCD - lowest common denominator. Too many things - education, culture, the internet, politics, journalism, the workplace, etc. - have been dumbed down to accommodate the shit-for-brains tier. The "progressive" movement once upon a time was a relentless drive to mediocrity; awful seems to be the new goal.

The head of state of the country i'm from wore a suit that was pretty much identical to what Trump wore and there isn't a single Redditard pointing it out because he isn't on the totes-be-goats genuinely 100% literally Hitler list.

It's a formal occasion, that's all. Just don't show up in jeans and a t-shirt. There were blokes with tea-towels on their heads wearing dresses at the fucking thing.

C: Not letting teachers teach the way they want.
On the other hand, this is a major factor in how phonics got replaced by "whole language" reading instruction, as the latter centers the teacher as the quasi-heroic leader while for the former they're merely administering a program (which actually works for its intended purpose).
