Who are you rooting for in Super Bowl 59?

No matter where he goes though, Deion will be a problem. He's turned himself into the NFL's answer to Lavar Ball.
yep.
Mel Kiper has been coping and sneeding over Sanders falling below Dart for like a half hour now
Every year he's proven how wrong he is. lol Then he cries like a little bitch.
Mel Kiper is slandering @Trombonista’s boy Josh Allen by saying he’s a loser and that Deion’s son is better.
Fuck he is a moron. He's ESPN's DSP.
Odd he wouldn't bring him in to compete with Nix.
Shedeur either takes the hint and grows up or is out of the league entirely in a year or two at the latest.
He's crying himself to sleep after not getting that 1st round money.
>Rodgers dropped to 24th
>Brady dropped all the way to the 6th round
>Burrow led the greatest offense in CFB history and dragged the lowly Bengals to the Super Bowl in arguably his rookie year
All of which where humble until they proved themselves. Does everyone forget Rodgers rode the pine behind Favre and Brady behind Bledsoe?
The Mel Kiper spaghetti spilling has permeated the nfl network broadcast with Rich Eisen getting in on the action.

There must have been something in the water in Bristol with all of the soapbox antics these current and former espn employees display. Maybe they feel a kinship with Shedeur; they're all arrogant and entitled blowhards.
Eisen idolizes Deion.

I guess it all comes down to if you think these frat bros pranking Shadeur adds to the humor of his draft stock tanking and winding up in Cleveland. To some, apparently it doesn’t.
Oh it's definitely fucked up and mean-spirited, but it was effectively harmless outside of hurting the Sanders' family ego. The fact they were still streaming on day 2 so that everyone got to watch the phone call play out definitely crushed him more.
Tree isn’t wrong about observing lolcows. The other issue is that the kids shouldn’t have filmed themselves doing the call.
Yeah. That was retarded, but they're zoomers so it's expected. For whatever reason, they do not understand you are allowed to record yourself. You are allowed to do something stupid. You are not allowed to do them both at the same time. I've mentored high school kids and specifically told them that, as well as never link their online identity to their IRL identity unless you specifically intend for that purpose.

Taking two QBs in the middle of the draft would make A LOT more sense if they didn't just trade a 5th for Kenny Pickett.
My crackpot theory is that they saw Pickett not totally shit the bed in week 17 against the Cowboys before he got pulled for injury, and think they can make enough of a showing with him early in the season to flip for some draft picks before the deadline to a team that's lost their starter to injury, if not next off-season.

Of course this is also retarded, he was behind our insane Oline and was up against a 7-10 Cowboys team that was playing for nothing at that point, and even then he got showed up by Tanner Mckee coming in to make 2TDs off of 3 completions (This kid will start somewhere eventually, and he will be nasty).

12 Longhorns drafted. I think they've had more players drafted in the last 2 years, than the previous 5 years combined.
There were almost as many this year (12) as there were from 2019-2023 (15.) There were as many or more first round picks this year (3) than total picks in three of those 2019-2023 draft years. First rounders alone from the past two years (5) would've equalled a third of the total picks from between 2019-2023.

2 in 2019
3 in 2020
5 in 2021
0 in 2022
5 in 2023

11 in 2024
12 in 2025

Did we check to make sure Mel Kiper stopped crying about Shedeur? I saw a clip of him bitching that nobody in the NFL knows how to evaluate QBs and memories of Jimmy Clausen kept flashing in my mind
I know no one has taken Mel Kiper seriously in decades, if ever, but Shedeur falling to the 5th round really highlights the absurdity. I've got no idea why ESPN has kept him around other than name recognition, and it's not like it's positive. He's not a reporter. He sucks as a draft analyst. He doesn't scout players. He has no football experience outside of making mock drafts. Plus, I just found out he got into all this because he's Jewish and some other Jew told him there's going to be a market for draft information. (Jesus Christ.) He brings nothing to the table other than mock drafts and there's a zillion other people who do that better than him.
Ewers should've transferred. He would've had another year to pad his numbers, and make twice what he will now make in the NFL.
What a retard. I didn't realize he was a junior. Before the NIL, I could understand why a mid-round, fringe guy would opt out of their senior year, but now it makes no sense. Apparently, he turned down an 8 million dollar transfer offer?

It wouldn't shock me if that's the grand plan at this point, but it's highly optimistic. The Browns are already at negative leverage because teams know the Browns will be forced to cut their undesirable QB (whoever that is, other than Flacco), even if they're goal is to stash that QB on the practice squad.

Then, it's completely reliant on Pickett balling so light's out that it leads another team to believe he's a better option than a team's QB2. A QB2 whose already integrated with the team, culture, scheme, etc since at least training camp. It'd be more likely if Pickett was a relatively unknown commodity, but I don't think any team will invest draft capital as a short-term plan.
He might play if tua gets another concussion
If?

I didn't know about that monster offer.:O He was either highly misinformed about his draft stock, or did not listen to advice.

That’s funny. I’d say that his “don’t tip the cow, observing is funny enough” mantra is what every kiwi abides by. Guess it goes to show how much people here hate Shadeur Sanders.
Dude jumped on the "Matt Ariaza is a rapist!" bandwagon before any of the evidence came out and now he wants to get on his soapbox and wag his finger over a prank call? Fuck Tree.

Tree is a retarded shitlib, every chance he gets to in one of his vids he whines about how not heckin' wholesome the racismos are.

You make it sound like the man should be on thread watch. Except the guy knows to not bring up too much of his offline problems .

And for those keeping score at home, 5 QBs went before Shadeur Sanders. And this QB class was said to be pretty damn weak.

And as the biological drive of European Exploration drove his ancestors to endeavor to set foot in parts unknonwn, so to does the North American Hog Mollie (Porcinus Americanus) seek new pastures with fresh soil to till, set pockets, and make pancake blocks among. This exceptional specimen has decided to brave the cold unforgiving north of Detroit in search of glory. Far from his southern whelping grounds. Does he have the grit and toughness to become the next great Detroit Lions Offensive linemane? Only time will tell...
