Ignoring the facts that the campaign just started and that Tokusatsu is one of the most beloved genres to come out of Japan. Can we wait until it actually fails before doom and gloom?

Also, can we agree Ethan has been vindicated in burning all these bridges? FNT's half hearted shoutout yesterday amounted to nothing for Golden Patriot sales. No one except Ryan Kinnel even seemed to care.

Creativity and selling stuff rarely have anything to do with the other. Taylor Swift, McDonald's, all those cringe romantic drama movies on Netflix - they all sell well, but they are also generic slop built on an established bestselling formula without rocking the boat that much. If anything, if you want to sell a lot of stuff, getting too creative can even be a detriment, as normies tend to fall back on what they are familiar with and like.

I doubt that, as a businessman, July is going to solicit or publish/distribute works that don't fall back on popular tropes one way or the other. Whether this is bad for Comicsgate, who knows, but then again, does Comicsgate even exist anymore? It's just a bunch of catty obese middle-aged man acting like mean girls now, and many would kill to even have the fraction of "failure" July is currently experiencing.

why wouldn’t it? It’s one of the reasons why he spergged out when people initially started criticizing his books. And now he is coming out with even more characters with uninteresting designs and it’s affecting his sales.

Oh, so you are THAT far behind. You should have just said so. Ok, update: It was found and confirmed that Juju (a pedo supporter, furry and gets pegged all the time) never even read the comic when he reviewed it and did so only to tear it down because Eric humiliated his pet pedophile. Eric, rightfully, called him out on this and Juju pretended that he caused Eric to sperg out. Over time, Juju tried and failed to persuade the world that Eric was an idiot and ended up looking like a fool for trying. He even sent his pet piss goblin to harass him in public and make death threats which lead to the piss goblin being arrested. And before you ask, yes, Juju admitted he had not read the book before reviewing it.

Ok, now you are up to speed.

it definitely looks awful like i thought it would, but I'm sure it'll hit at least 100k by July but probably not much past that. YF has almost 500k subs and it's being put out by EJ and will be pushed hard by him and all his friends.

EVS will say it's a failure because it didn't make a million and probably won't do well enough to warrent a sequel, and YF will say it's a success because it hit it's goal and dunk on EVS that dillard will have made 40k off it instead of the 15-20k if he had been paid a normal rate upfront. Both will continue to be retards.

It was Issue one first appearance hype for ISOM one, he will never make that much again on one thing. But there's nothing about say Shane Davis or Jon Malin's designs and books that are any better. Yet these people sperg daily about how bad Rippa books are. So any of you haters gonna pirate upload the other Rippaverse books so I can see how bad they suck? Come on, your hate is slacking. The virgin nu cg haters.

Not me, I tapped out after Yaira 1. Which in my opinion was Eric’s best designed character.

As for the art, Shane’s art is leagues better than any of the artists Eric has working on his books. Although the Artwork in his Axcend book was super mid, his work on the Inglorious Rex is some of the best stuff he has ever done. I am gonna skip out on his upcoming Annatomic book (a spinoff involving the female love interest in Inglorius Rex) because I’ve seen that just like most of the Marvel and DC writers he and his CG buddies like to complain about, Shane can’t write good female protagonists without them feeling the need shit all over their male counterparts to make them look better.

I have no idea what that gay anime term means I'm just pointing out that "Mighty Golden Patriot" is a sad faggy idea and I don't know who would get excited about it. I don't know if it will be a success but it's lame regardless.

He does dumb shit but the problem is he never doubles down on his dumb shit, he usually just lets it go and moves onto the next thing. Are we sure he's actually black and it's not some kind of weird trick by EVS as the latter sure acts like a darky a lot more than the actual darky.

The biggest retardation on YF's part is taking this long to come up with the comic I think. I remember him talking about liking the power ranger comics and it's obvious he's making a rip off like evs is doing with his cyberfrog garbage (tmnt/street sharks/etc). He's a fucking youtuber who doesn't do any high quality videos. He just talks behind a still image and half the time he probably doesnt even need to write the script to talk about the drama shit he 'reports'. It cannot take that long to make a couple of these slop videos everyday. What do you fucking do the rest of the day? I feel like I've heard him talking about wanting to make a comic since before even the coof.

Had he released 3-4 years ago he would have done much better I think. At this point people are just tired of crowdfund comics. I don't care if they argue it's technically not, it's all the same garbage to most people and evs and his ilk has also done a good job destroying the market with their work ethic.
