She isn’t a GFE streamer, but she feels like she would be cheating on her chat if she got a boyfriend. I gave her the benefit of the doubt earlier, but I’m done. She clearly lies about her intentions to get away with being a virtual girlfriend for pedophiles. That’s probably why her community is genuinely one of the worst and most dedicated in Vtubing if not the whole internet. She’s purposely appealing to those losers, freaks and pedos for profit, but instead of committing she makes up lies about it being a joke or that she’s actually making fun of them, so passerby think it’s just a weird sense of humor. It’s funny how her fans always talk about god as if she hasn’t sold her soul for money.

It's interesting reading some of Shondo's old tweets from before she became a VTuber, since there's things she would absolutely never say today, like mentioning her boyfriend and even mocking people calling her a "loli":

There's one where she is talking about how fake VTubers are and how she doesn't want to "pretend to be someone [she's] not":

A few years later though, and that was exactly what she would end up doing: pretending to be a little girl and fueling the parasocial shit, all so she can collect that paypig cheddar.

But now, it's coming back to bite her. She's built up an audience of obsessed and disturbed fans, including unhinged psychos who post about her hundreds of times a day. Twitch and other platforms are taking a tougher stance against lolicon and she's becoming more limited in what she can do without risking a ban. And people in general are pushing back against this sort of degenerate shit.

It's probably too late for her to back out. If she changed her model to an adult, dropped all of the pedobaiting, and told her delusional stalkers to fuck off, her revenue would tank, especially since the viewers sending donations and money are probably the most parasocial ones. But in the end, it's her own fault. She made a choice. No one put a knife to her throat and forced her to become a lolicon VTuber, babbling like an infant with a pacifier in her mouth. She asked for an audience of mentally unstable lunatics and that was what she got.

People don't feel sympathy for her, because she did this to herself. As an earlier post put it:

I can count the number of tranny vtubers on one hand, and a few of those are successful only because most of their viewers haven't realised they're trans (MakoFukusame for example). Or obkatiekat where most of his viewers are just chasers.

Even if they don't know what the woman behind the screen looks like, most vtuber enjoyers at least want to be secure in the notion that they are a true and honest woman.
