I wonder how much passive income she could have made if she hadn’t deleted all her old videos? While they’d mostly be combed through by reactors, I think having a huge back catalogue gets you into a higher tier payment plan? Plus people might watch some of her older videos, although it’s hard to imagine sitting through the livestreams. People think sub number does it but it’s watch time, and her watch time has to be comparatively low.
I’m just musing since know almost nothing about YTs payment system, but I do wonder if she shot herself in the foot. At this point it’s actually hard to find her own channel. Search Foodie Beauty and dozens of reactor pages come up first and you have to use her keywords to even find her own content.
Plus, YouTube has never served it to me, not once. (I’m not subbed but I get stuff I’m not subbed to all the time.) I only watch Milk Tea as a reaction but you’d think that would invite me to watch Foodie now and then, but nope.
At this point, I don’t believe Chantal could even work a real job. She is too physically debilitated to go somewhere and function 8 hours a day-she has to shit every hour, she can neither stand or sit comfortably, she has to have food in front of her all the time, and she is unable to communicate with others. As Dutch Courage said, she can’t even be nice to her own Stans for long. She could maybe get some work at home job like Peetz but I don’t think she has the mental capacity and ability to concentrate on work anymore.
She’s kind of screwed herself out of money. Her only chance is to do what Hungry Fat Chick does and eat on the side and in private videos, but Salah won’t let her.
TLDR: A lot of her poverty is from her own bad decisions and it’s amusing to watch. It’s playing out exactly like we predicted.
