1) Anonymity. KF is a little confrontational and what’s said here is here forever unless it’s illegal.

2) do-overs. If you’re banned from KF it’s forever. On 4chan I don’t have an account to “ban.”

At the same time, the floor for getting banned here is much higher. There are shitposting boards where you can act as retarded as you want, the only thing you really get banned for around here, from what I've seen, is something illegal or just generally pissing off everyone in the community in an unjustifiable way.

In addition, KF has a much stronger sense of community then 4chan does, as when someone is fedposting or otherwise trying to subvert the community it's extremely obvious since everyone has a username. It's a shame and I wish it wasn't like that, but 4chan's sense of community is extremely ethereal these days. You don't really hang out with "people" you more hang out with "vibes of people"

As it’s become more clear that some of the boards are shit because of one or two or three extremely persistent schizos, or student/research/activist/discord groups there to stir up shit…. Just checked /co/ today. The coomers returned in no time. The catalog is already full of brand-new softcore porn threads. There's even a loli thread because, of course, there is!

300 posts in 24 hours!

So the new jannies are working overtime giving 3-14 day bans to anyone daring to criticize them, trannies, or India, but threads with literally no discussion, just posting porn, almost porn, or shit these retards want to put their penis in are perfectly okay.

I knew 4chan wouldn't get better after the hack. I knew it was already shit beforehand, but I didn't expect it to get this much worse.

I'm confident that the rare, relatively high-quality threads became an ever bigger rarity as the more well-adjusted anons probably found more tolerable alternatives during the hack, and if that didn't take place or put them off of browsing 4chan, then the new, no-fun-allowed jannies will.

My apolocheese if these were already posted but I saw some screencaps of the catalogs of /v/, /co/ and /a/ from 2 days ago on 8chan and it's staggering how you have all these threads with no replies, like the bots aren't working correctly or something. They're posting the engagement farm bait threads but they aren't able to reply to keep them alive/bumped or something. And it always felt like it was a possibility the site was being propped up with engagement bait bot posts to make the website more attractive to advertisers or whoever Hiro sells user data.

On an 8chan thread there's a plausible theory that says Hiro wants to turn 4chan into a Dead Internet 4chan of sorts in which only bots are allowed to post and humans get banned on sight. To the unknowing advertiser, it arr rooks same, and given that most ads are coomer ads, the advertiser might think that a site filled to the brim with coomers is a good place to advertise on.

I'm glad that there are more people coming to the same conclusion I did a decade ago when GG was kicking off and it was revealed moot was making the site shittier because he was trying to get in the pants of some dumb cunt from Gawker (who cucked him lol). It was clear then that 4chan was on a downward spiral, and I left it behind and didn't look back. 8chan was my home for a while, lurking here at the same time and eventually permanently once they got torpedo'd. No regrets, this has been the best internet community I have ever been a part of, and I appreciate all the work Josh does keeping it going despite every single pile of bullshit thrown his way.

To anons that decide to stick around and integrate, I hope you'll find the farms as enjoyable and entertaining as I have. Fuck the tranny jannies, fuck hiroshimoot, and fuck moot.
