Chris Gore (Film Threat) phrases it as saying they took one of the largest Boy's Brands in the world and tried to turn it into a Girl's Brand. Which pretty much sums it up. Girls CAN like shows like Star Wars, Star Trek, Dr. Who, et cetera, but they're more meant for men. In each case, they've taken those IPs and tried to turn them into something girls would like, and ruined them.
From a more distant perspective it's blatant that they consider boys to be defective girls, and men to be defective women. Since they have taken over academia at all levels they simply can't grasp the concept that men have different interests and don't like what they like, because they like it and thus everyone "should." Part of it is because women shattered all male spaces (it's illegal to keep women out, and it's against the culture to not make women feel welcome) but the opposite isn't the case -- there's no outcry that there's not enough men in Nursing or Education, but by god we need more women in STEM!
