They seem to have shaved down his brow ridge and that has a number of risks. It’s very easy to damage the sinuses - that brow bone IS the front wall of the frontal sinus, and you can end up with leaking CSF if it’s breached various spaces.
But it’s also easy to damage the nerves around the eyes, the supra orbital nerves are easily damaged and the facial nerves as well. This can lead to eye damage like eyelid oedema, eyelid drooping, numbness of the face, loss of control if facial muscles, becoming cross-eyed or the eyes going out of alignment.
Your skull is an engineering marvel, it’s packed full of very delicate spaces, structures, nerves and vessels. Anyone who has has a facial injury, extensive dental work, trigeminal neuralgia etc will tell you of the agonising pain and dysfunction that messing with the skull can cause.
