Honestly, I don’t know how or why he got partnership. He bashed kick for a longtime. Said it was a sketchy site and could be a rug pull since it’s run by digital casino. Kick admins use to ban people for picking fights with other kick streamers and people talking down about their site. Either Phil is just lucky or they don’t care anymore.

I don't think 80-90, but it's damn high. Look at Rare_Tricks/Dumpykoala. Dumb fuck was in there donating to Truthseekers, KC, Lexxy, and Phil all at the same time and bragging about how he was doing it to psychologically fuck with phil (???). Let's not forget DoctorLexus, who's epic "so long phil!" was to give him $220 bucks of subs (on top of the $5000 bucks of subs he had already given), and stupid fuck is so irresponsible with his finances that he's still subbed to Phil and gonna give Phil 5 bucks until his credit card gets cancelled or expires.. Same thing with Ken/Itsameken.

Attention everyone! THIS is the thread in which you can post up nominations for games to be played during the upcoming Viewers' Choice marathon event! This event will take place once we have hit 50 support goals on DSPGaming for my daily live streams! Criteria are as follows:1. The game must be actively available for DIGITAL PURCHASE on a current platform, i.e. Steam, Xbox App, Playstation Store, Nintendo Store etc. and MUST be able to be played on a current gaming platform. This means NO emulation, no games on outdated platforms (like Playstation 1/2 etc.) but mods WOULD be acceptable if easy to implement on a PC version of a game.2. Please nominate games that can be fun to experience within ONE HOUR OF PLAYTIME! This means NO games with insanely lengthy intros because we won't get through them; visual novels would make no sense; be sure to nominate a game that would be FUN within 60 minutes of playtime!3. Please do NOT nominate games from the past that we have already tried and failed to capture an audience, or I have already said I would not play. Notably:
-Code Vein
-Catherine
-Disco Elysium
-Stellar Blade
etc.
ALSO, games which I have just played within the last 1-2 years would not make sense UNLESS you're suggesting some kind of a special challenge run that would differ from my first playthrough.

The MOST NOMINATED GAMES will then be placed into a poll which you will vote on to determine the final lineup during the 50-goal marathon event! NOTE: If a game is already nominated, JUST SIMPLY UPVOTE THAT NOMINATION if you don't wish to duplicate that game in your post. You CAN duplicate if you wish!

Most notably, the idea is to HAVE FUN during this event and discover new games for future playthroughs! So games that are heavily multiplayer focused MAY be fun just for the event, but likely wouldn't result in future play. So keep that in mind!

As always that poll won't matter and he'll just play what he wants. But it's funny he preemptively banned stellar blade, catherine and code vein. All these games having a hot woman protagonist.

The only interesting thing this time is he's allowing mods but we all know that just means something like a texture pack for a darksouls or a standalone mod of a game. Would be fun seeing him in Gmod being a socially stunted asshole around teenagers.

He should just go with a list of games he wants and have his dents vote on it, so at least he doesn't have to pretend his dent's choice matters....

I know that Phil has this remarkable talent into making any game look as boring as dirt, but I’d love for him to play Fear & Hunger.

For someone that claims to be an ‘old-school RPG player’, it’s the kind of game that actively punishes the instinct of “fighting all enemies to grind”. It’s not only heavily punishing and extremely difficult, it requires several different playthroughs, each with distinct approaches.

Its lore is all kinds of fucked up and far beyond what a gin-fueled Hogan gacha brain could interpret.

That said, if you’re looking for a messed-up survival horror RPG that never holds your hand, I fully recommend the duology. For games with such a simple concept, it’s amazing how each playthrough feels remarkably different.

I had just said something about how DSP makes any game look boring and unfun to play but I'm genuinely confused about Kingdom Come Deliverance. He says he watched Kat play the first one and said it looked too janky, the combat sucked, and (something else) but thats just fucking wrong. He skipped the first one because of the controversy with it being labelled an alt right game (because of the decision to not have black people). At some point Khet played it or he watched a video and developed the previously stated opinion. Now the sequel has a controversy of being woke and he's trying to stray away from those games. Thats it. He's not playing KC because he's a pussy.

As someone who didn't back the original game way back when, and had no real expectations other than "Skyrim without Dragons" I'm genuinely pleased with what I got. I even recently beat the Hardcore mode for fun and immediately started a fifth playthrough. The combat and RPG mechanics are the best things about it because of how true to life they are and many people will tell you that. I might get the second game but after seeing Vavra meltdown on Twitter I might just sail the seas for it this time. The gay sex and black guy controversy are meaningless to me but he was crashing out at people voicing their concerns and acting smug and self righteous if I recall. You shouldn't turn your back on the people who supported you for the last decade.

I heard he's going to play Mount and Blade Warband and that's the only thing that remotely interests me. That and of course Kenshi.

He should update the list to include Cyberpunk's DLC or else someone should vote that in.

I'm not sure if it was either in the leaked DMs between him and PPP or Warski or they said it on a stream but apparently DSP told them it was too difficult of a game for him to play on stream. Something about a lack of objective markers in the game and getting lost. I think he's just too stupid to play it an doesn't want to look like an idiot.
Of course the supposed controversy like you mentioned could definitely have factored into it as well, wouldn't surprise me.
