"As promised, the nigrescent domes of the arena loomed behind that not-so-public square."
Like any self respecting white man upon encountering a new word, I had to look it up. Here is what Google says:
"Nigrescence refers to the process of developing a Black racial identity, particularly in the context of Black racial identity development. "

My next great project after Primaris Marines will be removing all traces of niggerdom from Astartes gene seedI'm reading one of the old Ian Watson 40k novels (Space Marine) and he used a word I'd never heard before.

Since there are no salamanders in this book I'm assuming he just meant the domes were black.
Did the Gorilla offended Saint Floyd? Are the niggas on Fent? They debating if 100 niggas could take on a silverback:
Rate me optimistic, but the thing that gives me hope are the people in the comments, who also seem to be black, calling out the bullshit. "This is why teachers are quitting and you know his mom would defend him in court as if he never did anything wrong," "how are you gonna cheer for this guy while he's running then be sad he got shot, be serious." It might still be a "talented 10th" thing going on, but at least the comments are sane.View attachment 7288404

Cali Federico, 28 who has ties to Doylestown, PA and Flemington, NJ, was stabbed by 47-year-old Imani Tate on Easter Sunday, April 20 in Wheat Ridge, according to 9News and Wheat Ridge police.
Police say the homicide was the result of a fight. Federico was rushed to a local hospital where she died, while Tate was recommended a second-degree murder charge and a protection order violation. It was not immediately clear whether or not the two knew each other.
...
Federico was removing valuables from her car and preparing to head to a hotel before her flight home. That's where things took a turn and "her life was violently taken from her. Her plans to reunite with her family were ripped away."
I found her OF type accounts. Sucks some lunatic stabbed her to death over nothing. RIP.WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — A review of court records by 9NEWS Investigates reveals the woman accused of fatally stabbing another woman in Wheat Ridge had prior arrests for violent attacks and was out on bond pending a mental competency evaluation.
The victim, Cali Federico, was stabbed in the neck on Sunday near West 38th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard during a fight with the suspect, Imani Tate, 47, according to police.
According to Federico's family, she had recently moved to the Denver area with dreams of selling her art and making new friends. However, she fell on some difficult times with car problems and had plans to fly back to New Jersey to reunite with family this week.
Tate is currently locked up in jail on murder charges after Wheat Ridge police arrested her on Sunday afternoon, a few blocks away from the scene of the crime.
On Sunday, Federico parked her car in the Midas parking lot at W. 38th Ave. and Sheridan Blvd. and was going to head to a hotel before her flight.
According to investigators, Federico and Tate got into a fight for an unknown reason that ended with Tate stabbing Federico in the neck. Federico died in the street along Sheridan Blvd., and a short time later, police found Tate with blood on her shirt a few blocks away.
Tate’s criminal history
Court records reviewed by 9NEWS Investigates reveal Tate had three prior arrests for harassment in which she was accused of violent attacks.
In 2020, Tate was arrested and ultimately convicted of felony menacing when she attempted to stab Jody Wallschlaeger near 36th Street and Blake Street in Denver “with a large kitchen knife,” according to court records.
Wallschlaeger told 9NEWS over the phone that the attack was random and that her brother saved her life by shoving her out of the way when he saw Tate approaching with a knife. She said she warned the courts about allowing Tate to remain free.
“I literally just said that I think that she is going to hurt somebody. If anything, she's going to end up killing somebody,’’ Wallschlaeger told 9NEWS.
Tate was sentenced to four years of probation in the case, however she violated the terms of her probation and continued to get arrested.
Records reveal police arrested Tate for assault in 2022 in Jefferson County and then again in Denver in 2023 in which she was accused of attacking a custodian and security guards at Union Station.
Despite these continued arrests, judges allowed Tate to remain free on bond.
Court records also show Tate’s prior cases repeatedly faced delays because of issues over her mental competency and getting an evaluation.
Records indicate a court hearing would have occurred this May to review the status of her mental health.
The family of Federico sent 9NEWS a statement that reads:
“Cali Federico, originally from Bucks County, PA, most recently residing in Flemington, NJ, was a 28-year-old, beautiful, spirited young woman. She left NJ about a month ago to explore Colorado with hopes of selling her art and making new friends. She was traveling with her dog, Gaia, whom she loved with all her heart. An unfortunate situation with her car getting a flat and needing expensive repairs brought her to the reality of needing to head back home to NJ. With the assistance of family, living in Colorado, and family back home, she had planned to catch a flight Tuesday, April 22. Just before the tragic altercation that took her life, she was removing the valuables from her car and packing up herself and her dog to grab an Uber to her hotel. Cali’s life was violently taken from her. Her future plans to reunite with her family were ripped from this world and taken away from us all.
Cali was a creative and loving person. She was a talented artist, with such a natural ability to sketch or paint something that her family members all now have a piece of in their homes. Her life was taken way too soon. She was protecting her possessions and it got her killed. Our hearts are broken and our family will forever have a missing piece. We ask God why would he do this to our Cali. We also ask God for justice to be served. The person who did this to Cali needs to stay in jail forever and is an evil soul!”
Gofundme. Grandma's mugshot. Apparently she dindu nuffin:Father says he still struggles with death of girl in oven
Published 9:24 AM PDT, February 9, 2019
SHAW, Miss. (AP) — The father of a 20-month-old Mississippi Delta girl who police say was stabbed and placed in a hot oven says he still struggles with his emotions over her death.
John Floyd told WREG-TV that he’s been trying to understand what happened since Royalty Marie Floyd’s Oct. 15 death at a home in Shaw. A preliminary autopsy found the toddler was still alive when she was placed in the oven and that she died from stab wounds and thermal injuries.
The toddler’s grandmother, Carolyn Jones, is charged with first-degree murder and is jailed in Bolivar County pending $500,000 bail. Her lawyer hasn’t responded to requests for comment from The Associated Press.
“When I was told that she was gone, I wasn’t trying to hear nothing nobody else had to say,” Floyd said of a phone call he received at work informing him of his daughter’s death. “I was mad, ... wanting to get revenge.”
According to investigators, it wasn’t until Jones’ twin brother asked about the toddler that the grandmother told him she was in the oven. The brother drove to the Shaw Police Department for help, police said, and when an officer returned, the stove was sideways with a counter blocking the oven door. Royalty was still inside the hot oven.
The father said his daughter was so badly burned that she was buried after a closed-casket funeral.
“The casket, knowing that she was in it and stuff, but I can’t see her,” Floyd said.
Floyd said he first met Jones when the girl was born.
“She was warm and friendly. You never would’ve thought she would have done something like that,” he said. “But at the same time, I want to say it’s really hard to predict somebody and what they will or won’t do until they do it.”
Floyd said after Royalty was born Jones volunteered to care for her so Royalty’s mother could return to work.
“We decided not to go with a daycare,” he said.
Royalty’s mother declined a request for an interview.
