What a total piece. It has its uses in very particular settings (lofi indie shit that thrives on quirky toyish sounds) but you'll never see one in a pro setting except in these limited use scenarios (and there will probably be a stack of them). You'll see them in garage sales or the squalid caves of cryptids who think "making a new genre" means anything (it doesn't, and genres are usually defined post hoc). Casio made a handful of cool instruments (CZ series synthesizers, FZ series samplers, RZ1 drum machine, and of course the SK toy samplers) and this is nowhere near any of them.

I have no hate for a kid or new musician using what they can find and afford. Honestly, if it keeps them playing and practicing, that is awesome.

If it is a sound or intention, absolutely. That is art, and using the unexpected or cheap can lead to cool, interesting, and new sounds/ideas/paths.

Chance acts as if he is a rock and rap god. I don't think he even uses them when making music, they are just for display, which is the saddest reason to own any instrument.

In that exercise video, we see him struggling to lift 9 pounds in front of him with both arms. Forward raises aren't exactly a heavy weight exercise but he is lifting close to his body which makes it a lot easier.
