Idk if it's been said before, but when Harley called into Nick Deoreo's stream he said that the one thing he asked for is that all participants be paid the same, and that the event remain apolitical.

I don't think he even particularly loves Ethan Klein, I get the impression that Harley, after watching the Content Cop was in denial about how antisemitic the jomhas are. But his conscience seems to be eating away at him.
He was also critical that Creator Clash, blantantly wasn't for charity.
And I'd imagine he realized, if a charity isn't benefiting why would he continue to associate with people who obviously him.
