Poilievre had good ads cleverly explaining his policies, had the 'Canada First' momentum...all undone in weeks by Trump's punitive tariffs & 51st State horseshit. Trump pissed the Canucks off so much, Pierre wasn't even helped by an immigrant doing an SUV-of-Peace in the days leading up to the election.
What Hambly, Sargon and others seem to have forgotten is that Trump and their brand of right wing bullshit only got as far as it did because 1. Rupert Murdoch has a current stranglehold on Western Media and has wanted it since the 70s and 2. BPD Leftism pissed a lot of people off (especially working class people) by being absolutely obnoxious fucking twats to everybody post GFC.
They took this second election of Trump as it finally being "their time", Trump included, and proceeded to act like unhinged lunatics and complete faggots. They thought were going to set the rules, in their minds it "is" the right wing's time where they are going to be the ones calling the shots and they get to direct culture socially and politically.
Addressing point 1. What they don't realize is that the Murdoch Empire is crumbling, Rupert and Lachlan just lost a massive fight with the other Murdoch siblings over control of the media. Meaning upon Rupert's death (which isn't too far off), the Murdoch empire is going to be split up and Balkanized, with the three more moderate siblings absolutely hating Lachlan's guts because he tried to steal their slice of the Empire and he's a RWNJ. Here in Australia where the Murdoch's grip on media has been absolute the journalists and editors are dividing into camps, there is slight acts of disobedience toward Rupert creeping in as those self interested parties have decided they'd rather work for one of the other siblings than work for Lachlan. The Murdochracy is starting to crumble, it is losing power, and when Rupert dies and the Boomers viewers dwindle the whole thing will collapse. The main organizing force behind Trump and the current brand of Right Wing Populism which has replaced conservatism will no longer exist and most of what will be left over will not even be friendly to it.
Onto point 2. the BPD leftism that came out of California only became so loathed because they were massive and obnoxious faggots who thought they got to dictate to everybody else what was, is and will be. Trump, Vance, Hambly, Sargon and the Autistic Thunderdome posters are doing exactly the same thing, they're being massive and obnoxious faggots who think they're going to dictate what was, is and will be. They're quickly becoming as loathed as the 2010s SJWs and if they don't pump the brakes, they're going to be even more hated and even more mocked.
What happened in Canada wasn't an "outlier", by being such a bunch of obnoxious and flagrant cunts, they took an election that was going to be a slam dunk for Pierre Poilievre, to a humiliating defeat where Poilievre ended up losing his seat and being run out of politics less than 6 months later. The exact same thing is about to happen in Australia. The average people outside of the US hate the current Right Wing Populism so much that two elections that were going to be easy conservative wins are now going to be two humiliating defeats, considering how much of an advantage the conservatives had in January. These aren't close wins either, if a team is behind 20 points in the 3rd quarter only to win with 5 points to spare when the final whistle blows that is a humliating defeat and a major fuckup on the losing team's side. Close is a game where it was point for point, not a final quarter come from behind slaughtering.

The media who got MAGA to this point is failing and falling, and whatever goodwill or tolerance people extended previously has run out.
